I’ve removed the hands with tools from the motivational pop up pages. I prefer it to look less cluttered, but the hands did add in a certain amount of ‘we can do it’ attitude, so I might add them back in but simplified as to not clutter the page

Haven’t sketched out the final design for the user page yet, but it’ll be pretty simple, mainly user info, saved posts and any market place posts they’ve created. I might look to ebay for information inspo concerning the marketplace tile.

Using my coral hands, which I show a range of tools and a ‘we can!’ attitude, I experimented with the first page the audience will see. In the long run, I like the idea of the brand name and tag line appearing as a hand with roller scrolls down the page. But bearing in mind time constraints and the fact that I want to show lots of different tools, not just painting, I feel it’ll be more effective to have all the hands on the page. Perhaps they all fade in at once or separately.

Background trials

I’ve tried various tool inspired patterns and colour combos. On one hand, I like the white space of the original design, but I wonder if it needs more to make it really pop. I quite like the subtle bubble colours and the green gradient. As much as I’d love to have the tools included, it feels a bit cluttered. I might try and fit them onto the opening page instead.
