I have pet peeves for people genuinely thinking a character is lesbian/gay in cannon, despite them showing strong attraction to the opposite sex. Yamuraiha from Magi, for example. So many people headcannon her as lesbian due to the fact her VA apparently voices a lot of them, when she is shown many, many times to be attracted to men. Her ideal romantic type is an older bearded man. Her greatest worry is that she can't find a boyfriend. How are people missing this

I’m not really sure how to react to or answer this. This just kind of came out of nowhere.

This is a yandere blog people, not a place for... whatever this is. I know I haven’t been updating much, but come on.

Okay, Yamuraiha is attracted to men in cannon. People can still headcannon her as lesbian or whatever the fuck they want. It’s not my place or your place to judge. I know that Yamuraiha is attracted to men, and I’ve seen people headcannoing her as a lesbian. A Magi blog I follow headcannons her as lesbian. And what do you know, I just don’t care. I’ve always viewed Yamuraiha as a “I like guys, but girls are cute too” kind of person myself.

At the end of the day, it’s fiction. It literally doesn’t matter. People can headcannon whatever they want, and other’s have no right to judge unless it supports pedophilia or IRL incest. You’re free to have this as a pet peeve if you want, but I suggest just keeping quiet about your problems with it in the future.

I throw character’s cannon sexualities out of the window for my blog, in case it wasn’t obvious. I accept readers of all genders to be paired with characters of all genders. So I really don’t know what you thought my response to this was going to be.

Goddammit, I just realized if I delete all the posts with aged-up characters, I’ll delete a one of my favorites because it has one in it. Maybe I’ll just delete the parts in the post with the aged-up characters...? Definitely seems like a better idea. Again, gonna wait a bit to decide before rewriting my rules. I want to make certain.

NGL, I haven’t updated on here in forever. I’m looking at my rules and am thinking of redoing things. I’ve kinda changed my mind on the aging up minors thing, and am thinking of just scrapping that all together. I’ll wait a little while longer to figure it out though

Regarding Magi and minors, people really need to understand the age differences in characters and why sexualizing some characters versus other characters isn’t okay.

I honestly just came to say that Kougyoku & Alibaba are around the same age (both in the Final Arc are said to be 22). There might be a few months difference between them (since I guess we can assume that Alibaba’s almost 23, and Kougyoku became 22 recently, but we don’t really know I guess?), but I think we still can assume she’s around 19 by the end of the Magnostsdt Arc, so she technically isn’t a minor by the end of the anime either.

I mean, assuming the character is of age once they reach 18 (legal age in my country, so that’s what I go with), and apparently you use the same legal age, then Alibaba at the very beginning is a minor (he’s 17), and I think he’s 18 around the Balbadd Arc?

Actually, I think Alibaba turned eighteen while he was at Reim’s coliseum. I vaguely remember a scene with him and Pisti saying Alibaba was almost eighteen, and I think it was when they were on their way to Zagan? It was in the manga, but I’m not too sure about the anime.

Which means Sindira’s drinking age must be around 17, since that’s how old Kougyoku and Alibaba were when they drank there. And Hinahoho’s kid is a little older then Morgiana, and it was said he wasn’t allowed to drink (he must have been 15-16 then??? Maybe 14 at the earliest, so Morg’s age at the time). I think it was Hinahoho’s first kid, since the height adds up (I think??? Imuchukk are hard to tell). Pretty sure it was Kikiriku who asked though. I think he has another younger son, so it might have been him. IDK.

Hc that Sinbad will purposely let his darling escape him, even if its at the cost of him losing his favorite toy. He'll let them gain the false hope by letting them be free for awhile before he decides to bring them back to him

Absolutely. That’s actually been a headcannon of mine for a while! He totally seems like the type to let his darling loose, and then hire some thugs to threaten and hurt them, all so Sinbad can save the day and drive the point home that he’s their savior, and the only one who can truly protect them.

He’d manipulate their “freedom” from the sidelines, making the outside world seem so much crueler then they remember it. And when he brings them back, everything is comforting and safe.

I’ve been noticing a pattern in the ships that I have that involve actual cannon characters

They’re almost always rarepairs, and they have both wholesome and yandere potential. If it’s not a rarepair, then the anime/manga is so underrated that there’s no content for it in general.

And I am eternally at a lack of content for them.

Hey, can I request slightly yandere Judar with a female s/o who he kept captive for a while. She actually ended up falling for Judar tho and is begging him to give her at least some freedom? How would he react? And how would he punish her if she were to abuse that privilege?

Not really a request, but... Judar absolutely forces his darling to get piercings. Nipple piercings, piercings down THERE... y'know. Not too many, I don't think he would like that... maybe just enough though

He absolutely does that. Agreed, he wouldn’t force them to get too many... maybe just one or two. Maybe some nipple piercings, some genital piercings... but I doubt both around the same time. After a couple years his interest would be re-invigorated and he would force them to get another one. I doubt he would be interested in any that aren’t in intimate places though.

Judar definitely enjoys how degraded and humiliated his darling gets when he forces them to get that piercing. It’s like a pretty little way of branding them - less flashy then a collar, but prettier and more intimate. And once they’ve healed up, he absolutely abuses it - sucking on it, tweaking it, taking advantage of the sensitivity and turning them into a little mess. It’s a perfect reminder of how much control he has, how much their body belongs to him and him alone.

He’ll be the one that picks out the piercings themselves though. Darling gets no say in what sort of gemstone or design it is, that’s all him. Judar would also never get any piercings himself, he’s not interested in the pain or disinfectant process.

If his darling misbehaves, Judar just has to give the piercing a quick tug and threaten to rip it out, and quiets them out real quick. Maybe he’ll give it a quick tug every once in a while, to remind them who owns them.

But look on the bright side, at least Judar isn’t using a hot iron to brand his name into them, aye?

I could see other characters doing this too. Sinbad, Gyokuen, and Pisti off of the top of my head. Pisti would probably do it as more of a fetish thing, but it’s mostly ownership with Sinbad and Gyokuen/Arba, enjoying the power and control they have over their darling’s body. Mostly, because there’s definitely a fetish involved in there.

I could even see Hakuei doing something similar as well, maybe one intimate piercing and some ear piercings. She’s definitely the type to have her darling wear an earring that has her name engraved in it, so everyone knows who her darling belongs too.

Hakuei would give darling free reign of the piercings they have down there, while Gyokuen/Arba would control it completely and ignore all disagreements. Sinbad will let them pick out their own for good behavior, and Pisti is willing to humor requests.
