Clean eating is genuinely giving veganism a bad name and excluding people who could really benefit from the journey towards being vegan. Organic isn’t usually cheap, locally grown isn’t always accessible, range isn’t always abundant. We expect far too much of people.

I have full support for the junk food vegans, for the ‘lazy’ vegans, for the working-class vegans who live in pasta and biscuits. We need to open up veganism to as many people as possible- because it can be accessible to so many, but we spoil it by minimising the gaps
