Helloooo here's my request: scorpius and rose in france, one of them says he/she love the another in french, thinking that the other won't understand but in fact both of them knows how to speak french sooo the rest is yours ^^
AN: ahhh love this idea! I also included a headcanon that Hermione and Astoria know French. I’m not fluent in French, i actually started learning a couple weeks ago, so please excuse the bad grammer!
“Je t'aime.”
Rose froze, heat rising to her cheeks. Scorpius never said I love you directly before, and definitely not in France, a country of love. They showed their love through little things, like breakfast in bed, kisses on the cheek, cute dates.
Neither of them had ever said I love you, even though they’ve been dating for 6 months. Rose had no clue why they’ve never said the three words. Maybe because they both knew they loved each other already?
“Je t'aime aussi.” She smiled, leaning on her elbows. They were at a bakery in the center of Paris, a clear view of the Eiffel Tower through one of the windows.
Scorpius’s eyes went wide. “You speak French?”
“My Mum taught me.” Rose laughed at his shocked expression. “You speak French?”
“My Mum taught me as well.” Scorpius took a sip of his drink, smiling. “I learned ‘I love you’ and I wanted to tell you here.”
“Eh bien, je suis content que vous l'ayez fait.” Rose took his hand in hers, squeezing it. “Je t'aime vraiment.” She took a peice of scone off his plate.
“Et je t'aime vraiment aussi, mais arrête de prendre mon scone!” The couple laughed, happy to be with the person they loved.
