The Breakfast Club (1985) dir. John Hughes
“Once I stop caring you’re not getting it back. I’ll be cold as ice, I promise.”
— You get what you deserve Apr 3, 2015 (via iwrite-myheart)
i want that really cliché friend group who takes long drives together and takes pictures of each other when they’re not looking and goes on random picnics and visits museum together fuck i want it so bad where y’all at
“You could have had me forever if you had wanted me,”
— Iris Murdoch, from “Under The Net,” published c. September 1954
“Become the energy you want to attract into your life. If you want peaceful, loving and honest relations; become that yourself first.”
— Audrey Kitching
Men, if you girlfriend or wife hits you, degrades you, pressures you into sex, intentionally shames and humiliates you, or cheats on you, you are the victim and you are in an unhealthy relationship. She is not treating you right, it’s not okay, and you do deserve better.
a nice idea: i wake up, the love of my life is tangled up in the sheets next to me, the sun is shining, my plants are alive and i know that there’s loads of fresh fruit in our kitchen. life is good.
me watching everyone on earth date and fall in love
things i seek in 2018;
falling in love again, lots of books, endless cups of coffee, vacations, journals filled with poetry & stories, saving money, purging out toxic people & embracing the love around me in friends & family, working hard at my job, blooming into who i’m meant to be.
Replacing “Why is this happening to me?” with “What is this trying to tell me?” has been a game changer for me.
The former creates a hamster wheel, where you’ll replay the story over and over again. Victimized. Stuck.
The latter holds space for a resolution to appear.
Insomnia, my friend...
Praying for the woman I’ll be in 5+yrs I hope she’s happy, and loved, living life unapologetically, doing what she loves.
