What happens when a movement of gamers recognizes they’re not players, but pawns?
Very well written, and exactly what I expected.
Farwell, Stuart
Today we have lost one of the best storytellers of a generation. Of all the people in the world who have passed in the last year, this is the one that hits me the hardest. If you don't already listen, go download an episode of The Vinyl Cafe, and hear one of the most loving, human pieces of radio history. It will touch you, and break your heart, and make you laugh as hard as any comedy special. I only hope that one day I can weave words like the master, Stuart McLean.

On Presidents and Populism
I think that perhaps the most terrifying thing about all of this, is that almost every established government that I have any insight into is charging headlong into racist populism and nationalism. The only country that really comes to mind as a refuge from this is Canada, and even then I'm not sure how secure its place is.
This isn't just America. This is everywhere, and it is the world we live in now.
How did I only just see this???
“The fence jumping is an obsession of mine because when I used to walk to school it was in the alleys not through people’s back gardens, and I always wanted to take a shortcut through their gardens and I never did, so I’m living vicariously through the movies.” —Edgar Wright
One of the best surprises of PAX16 was just how good this short film is.
Wonderfully shitty
