Meeting Your Family - Cole Sillinger
You and Cole had been dating for just over six months and since it was the All Star Weekend you thought it would be the perfect time to take Cole home with you to meet and stay with your family for the weekend.
To say the least, Cole was a nervous wreck. You had never seen him this nervous before and to be honest, it was kind of cute.
"I'm scared they won't like me" he said to you nervously.
"Cole, you are an amazing person and one of the only people who make me feel safe and loved and they know that, they will love you and if they don't i'll always love you" you said as you held his hand and pressed a kiss to his cheek.
"Thank you love" he kissed you back.
You pulled into the restaurant that you were going to meet your parents at.
You said hi to your mom and dad and gave them hugs before you introduced them to Cole.
You sat down and ordered your food while you caught up with your mom and your dad and Cole talked about hockey and basketball.
The dinner went perfect. After you all finished eating you went back to your childhood home and you showed Cole around.
You went up to your room with him and changed into your pj's and layed on the bed and cuddled for a bit.
"I think your dad likes me, we have a lot in common" Cole said to you clearly very happy.
"I'm sure he does, you're like a son to him" You said laughing.
Cole had the biggest smile on his face and you were so happy his nerves were gone.
"Let's go downstairs and watch AGT with my parents, they love that show" you said.
You lead Cole downstairs and you two cuddled up together on the couch while your mom turned on the TV.
You were so happy Cole fit in with your family and you could tell that your parents adored him.
Soon enough you two had fallen asleep on the couch and your mom snapped a picture that she will treasure. Happy that her baby found someone who loves her and treats her like a princess.
