Happy WIP Wednesday, I worked on some blanket squares, made 2 hexi puffs, a patch for some slippers, and my boxy.

I had a little block party this weekend.

I only used the spin feature on my washer to spin out excess water.

Purple and grey cardigan is the Hexagon granny square cardigan, I used the pattern on YouTube from PassioKnit Kelsie yarn used was Oink Pigments Dapper in the colorways Aced It and Zoot Soot.

The all purple top is an Outline Tee by Jessie Mae Designs yarn used is Oink Pigments Coven in the colorway Om-Nom-Nomni.

The pink and purple shawl is The Tortured Purls Department Shawl, by me Julie Gillespie using Oink Pigments Targhee Sock in Lavish Lavender and Bunny Slippers (pattern will be out soon hopefully).

I bought Wicked a billion years ago, but never read it. I've seen the musical, but still I hadn't gotten around to reading it. With the movie coming, I finally did... And I really disliked it for the most part. Not enough to DNF, but something just nagged at me the entire time. I didn't figure out what it was until I attempted to read another Gregory Maguire book, he really writes women as if they're an annoyance to have around. No one made him write this book or these characters, but he seems to be mad that he had to.
