You couldn’t breathe. It was like everything was toppling down. You looked around you, noticing how broken everybody looked. You knew the war was coming, and there was nothing you could do to stop it. The other thing was, you couldn’t find Draco. He had left before you woke up, and you spent a good hour looking for him. You walked into the Great Hall, where people were eating breakfast, and making small talk. You took a seat at the table, and noticed two girls staring at you.
“Do you have a problem?” You asked, looking at them. The quickly shook their heads and ate their breakfast quickly. Everybody thought you were a death eater, just because your boyfriend is one. But they don’t understand, they’ll never understand.
“Y/N.” You turned around, hoping it to be Draco, but it was only Blaise.
“Hi Blaise.” You said as he sat across from you.
“Have you seen Draco?”
“No. I thought he was going to be with you.” You said. This was getting you more anxious. If he wasn’t with anyone, then where was he? Did he just leave? You tried to suppress your thoughts and listen to Blaise.
“Miss L/N.” Professor McGonagall said from behind you.
“Yes Professor?” You asked.
“Please, come with me. It’s very urgent.” You quickly stood up and followed her into her office.
“What’s the problem?”
“I have just received information that your family home was attacked by death eaters last night.” Your heart stopped.
“What?”
“I know this is a lot to take in.”
“Is everybody okay?”
“I’m terribly sorry, Miss L/N. But, nobody in your family is yet to be found.”
“So they’re dead? They all died?” You asked, tears streaming down your face. You were supposed to go home next week and see all of them. But now, you can’t, because they aren’t there.
“Miss L/N-”
“I need to get out of here.” You said, walking away and into the dorms. You sat on your bed and pulls out a picture of them. They were all laughing and smiling. You noticed a tear drop onto the picture and you wiped your face. You were going to fight, for them.
The next day you saw Draco. He seemed nervous.
“I heard about your family.” He said and he pulled you into a hug. You started sobbing immediately. “I’m so sorry.” He rubbed your back until you were calm enough to speak.
“I can’t imagine life without them.” You said, leaning into him. “I can’t believe this is all real.”
“I know.”
“I’ve been scared, about the war. What if we don’t make it out together? Like, what if we don’t win?” You confessed.
“Hey, it’s going to be okay. We are forever.” he said, and kissed the top of your head.
“Really? Forever?” You said.
“I promise. Once this is all over, we can go and live our life happily together.” He said. “Which brings me to my next thing.” He moved away from you a little bit.
“Draco, what is it?” You asked.
“I want to marry you. We’ve known each other for practically our whole lives. So, once this war is over, marry me.” He said, pulling out a small ring and you gasped slightly.
“Okay, yeah, I’ll marry you.” You said and kissed him. The only thing that was good right now was Draco, and he wants to spend the rest of his life with you.

“And then he said, ‘This was fun. Let’s do it again.’ Does he not understand what a one night stand is?” Pansy asked and you rolled your eyes. She was telling a story of some boy, whose name you don’t even know.
“Yeah, Pansy. Maybe you should’ve just told him.” You said.
“Are you fucking stupid? You don’t tell somebody that it’s a one night stand, you just know!”
“I don’t know. Well maybe it’s because I don’t sleep with new guys every night.” You said, smirking. Pansy looked over at you and made an obscene gesture with her hand. You mocked surprise. “Ms. Parkinson! I am shocked by your recent behavior!”
“Shut up. You might want o get to class before your boyfriend starts to get nervous.” She said and you looked at her.
“Draco is not my boyfriend!” You said, your voice going an octave higher.
“Sure, and I’m a virgin.” She said. You stood up and started walking away. “Was it something I said?” You ignored her and walked into class. You took your seat next to a Hufflepuff boy and looked at Draco. Sure, he was cute, and if he asked you out, you’d probably say yes, but he didn’t. And he probably never will.
After class, you heard somebody calling your name. You turned around to see Pansy trying to run in her heels.
“Maybe it would help if you wore flats like the rest of us.” You said.
“Shut up. Look this is important. Apparently, there is a small gathering in the Slytherin common room, and Draco’s going to be there.” She said and you rolled your eyes. Okay, maybe you liked Draco a lot. And it didn’t help that you two were the only people who understood each other.
“So?”
“So? So, you and I are going. It’s going to be fun! There’ll be booze, and maybe some cute boys.”
“Pansy, are you drunk already?” You asked.
“Ha ha very funny, Y/N. But seriously, say you’ll go.”
“Fine. I’ll go.” You said and she squealed.
“Yes! I’m so excited!” She said, dragging you by the arm into the dorms.
After Pansy finally decided your outfit was good enough, you were already ten minutes late.
“Pansy, come on. You don’t need to put on another outfit. That one is fine.” You said. She rolled your eyes and the two of you walked down to see everybody gathered in a circle. They turned to look at you and they all smiled.
“Y/N, Pansy. Glad you could make it.” Draco said, and you took a seat next to him. He handed you a cup of some type of alcohol.
“Thanks.” You said, smiling. The group had started playing some stupid game, and you were sitting on one of the couches, observing the game. Pansy came over to you.
“You are pathetic.”
“What?”
“I brought you here so you could chill with Draco, but you’re not doing that.”\
“God Pansy! If you’re so obsessed with him, why don’t you go make out with him, or sleep with him for all I care! Just leave me alone about it.” You said. She looked at you before speaking.
“You know what? Maybe I will go sleep with him! It’s better than being with you, a prude!” You had regretted saying anything. You watched Pansy go straight over to Draco and kiss him. You huffed in annoyance and found another boy at the party.
“Hi. I’m really not feeling good. Do you maybe want to cheer me up?” You asked innocently, and the boys eyes widened.
“Sure.” He said and you kissed him on the mouth, and you could tell it surprised him a little bit, but he kissed back. You pulled away and smiled slightly.
“I think I feel better now. Thanks.” You whispered. You turned to look at Pansy, whose eyes were almost as wide as Draco’s. You flipped her off and walked away. You sat down against the wall, wishing you could redo the night. You were sitting there for a good twenty minutes before you heard footsteps.”
“Fuck off Pansy. I don’t want to talk to you.”
“Not Pansy. But I can tell you two get along really well.” Draco said, taking a seat next to you. You groaned and put your head in your hands.
“God, I made fool of myself. I just get so tired of Pansy. And how she could walk up to a guy, say ‘hi’ and then the next day they’ve already slept together! Honestly, it’s so annoying!” You said.
“It wasn’t that bad.” He said.
“Well, that was my first kiss. So yeah, pretty bad story. Spite kissing.”
“Yeah, that’s petty bad.” He said and you playfully shoved him.
“Shut up, Draco.” You said, and looked at him. He leaned in closer to you until your lips were practically touching. You moved ever so closely, and then the two of you were kissing. You moved on top of him and he wrapped an arm around your waist, pulling you closer to him.
“Get a room! You slut!” Pansy said and you groaned of embarrassment.
“Fuck you Pansy!” Draco said.
“I thought that’s what you were going to do to Y/N.”

He was late. Again. This was the third time this week. There you sat, alone in The Three Broomsticks, with Madame Rosmerta giving you glances of sympathy every so often.
“Here, it’s on me.” She said, setting down a glass of Butterbeer, and collecting the empty glass. You looked out the window again, but seeing no sign of your boyfriend. So you waited, and waited, and waited.
It wasn’t until Madam Rosmerta came up to say that they would be closing in ten minutes, that you got up to leave. You walked around Hogsmeade, seeing the stores shutting off their lights one by one.
You walked though the halls of Hogwarts, really starting to take in its beauty. The sculptures on every corner, and the pillars having intricate designs on them. You walked down into the Slytherin common room and saw the one and only, Draco Malfoy.
“Uh, hello?” You said, which caused him to turn around.
“Hey, where were you? I looked for you but-”
“Really? We were supposed to meet at the Three Broomsticks, but you never showed up.” You said. He wasn’t late, he bailed on you. You waited three hours for nobody to show up.
“Was that today? I totally forgot, I’ll make it up to you, we can-”
“Draco, it’s not just about that. What about yesterday, when we were going to go to Hogsmeade, but you didn’t come until an hour later. Or what about Monday, when we were going to spend time together, but you didn’t even come into the common room until two hours past curfew?” You said and his face fell.
“I’ve had a really busy week and the stress has really taken over me. I just need to calm down.” He said, and pulled you into a hug. You wanted to believe him so badly, but there was something fishy about this.
The next day, you kept a close eye on Draco. You noticed that after the last class, he walked quickly to an unknown area, you decided that you were going to let him be, maybe it was something harmless.
You definitely knew something was up when you two were laying on his bed, making out. You were currently at lunch, and for some reason, Draco led you here. But, you couldn’t say you were complaining. Your shirt was open, and Draco was leaving kisses down your neck.
“Draco, as much as I love this, we only have fifteen minutes, so let’s get to the point.” You said and started to take off his shirt, but he stopped you.
“Since, it’s going to be quick, let’s keep the clothes on, okay?” He said and you sat up slightly.
“What’s going on?” You asked. This was unusual. He has never acted like this before.
“Nothing. Let’s just continue.” He leaned in to kiss you again, but you pulled away.
“Draco, we are not doing anything until you explain what the fuck is going on.” You said, scooting away from him.
“Nothing is going on!” He exclaimed, standing up.
“Then why have you been distant lately? Where were you? What aren’t you telling me?” You asked, getting angrier by the question. He just shook his head and put his hand on his forehead. That’s when you saw it, the tiniest bit of black on his arm. You quickly moved over to him and seized his arm. Before he knew what you were doing, you pulled his shirt up. There it was, the mark that you had only heard morbid stories about.
“What the fuck.” You whispered, looking at the mark, tears welling up in your eyes. “Tell me it’s fake. Tell me it’s a prank.”
“Y/N, let me tell you something.” You put your hand over your face to hide your tears. He carefully sat next to you and you moved away from him.
“What did you do?” You asked, looking at him with tears falling down your face. You wished this was all a terrible dream, and you’ll wake up next to Draco, and he won’t have any dark mark on his arm.
“Y/N,”
“Why didn’t you tell me! You hid this from me!” You yelled, looking at him. He stood up, going towards you.
“I had no choice! You think I wanted to join the Death Eaters? He was going to kill me, you, everybody I care about, if I didn’t!” He said, tears starting to fall down his face. “I can’t lose you.”
“Draco.” You said, going over to him tentatively, wiping his tears away.
“Please, just stay with me.”
“I’m not going to leave you. I’m right here.” You said, and lightly pulled his head into your shoulder. You held him, and whispered that things will be okay soon, even if the two of you had no idea what the future held.

You remember the exact moment when you decided you needed to lose weight. It was in your third year, when a boy called you fat. So, there, it was that moment,you decided to lose weight. At first, it was just cutting out some food. It was the foods that had any type of sugar in them. But then, you started cutting out more foods. Eventually, you were living on one carrot a day. You had become incredibly skinny, and all of your clothes were too baggy on you. But, you made sure nobody noticed, so you were always late to all the meals, so your excuse could be that you were just late. But, you especially made sure that Draco Malfoy, your boyfriend, never suspected a thing.
At first, Draco didn’t suspect a thing. He believed you when you said that you already ate, or that you just weren’t hungry. But, then, he noticed that you weren’t eating at all. He watched you over the past week. He noticed that you ate one thing everyday. It was starting to scare him. He had been friends with you for such a long time, and he noticed how skinny you had gotten over the past few years. But, he didn’t want to believe you were sick. He wanted to believe that you were just growing and you were going to gain more weight. But one day, he saw you not eating at all, so he decided to ask about it.
“Hey, Y/N, can I ask you a question?” He asked and sat down next to you.
“Uh, sure.” You said. That question scared you. Was he breaking up with you?
“Did you eat today?” Your breathing stopped. But, then you told yourself to just lie.
“Yeah, ate a big breakfast. So, I wasn’t really hungry for lunch.” You said, trying to stay calm. Draco scrunched his brows. Was that true? He didn’t really pay close attention, but he could swear that you didn’t eat anything.
“Are you sure?” He asked, looking at you.
“Yeah, you don’t have to worry about me. You said and kissed him. “I’m fine.”
“Okay.” He said and stood up to get ready for class.
Draco definitely knew something was wrong when it had been a whole week of secretly watching your eating, and he noticed you ate one thing everyday. He was also near you almost the whole day, so unless you ate a bunch of food while he was sleeping, you definitely weren’t eating.
You on the other hand, were feeling ugly. You thought you were still too fat. You looked at yourself in the mirror and almost started crying. You had seen pictures of muggle models and how beautiful they looked while posing. You’re clothes were just barely baggy, you noticed. There will clothes out here that were too small for you. You noticed a tear drop on to the counter and you quickly wiped it away, got dressed, and went out to the Great Hall. There, you saw all of your friends sitting, laughing at something.
“Hey guys,” You said, sitting down next to Draco. Draco put his arm around you and that when he knew it. You were sick. He put his arm around you and noticed how tiny you had become.
“You should really eat something babe.” And for some reason, it made you feel insecure. You stood up and stormed off to your dorm.
“What did I say?” He asked Blaise.
“I don’t know.” So, Draco stood up and went to follow you. He found you, crying in the corridor.
“Y/N?”
“Go away, Draco.” You said, sniffling.
“Y/N, please, let me talk.”
“Fine.”
“I’ve noticed you over the past weeks. You haven’t been eating, I know that. But I don’t know why. You always seem to be making excuses and say that you did eat.”
“Dra-”
“No, hold on. I just want to know what happened.”
“Fine! It started in second year, when someone called me fat. And then I realized that I am , and I needed to lose weight. so, you’re dating a monster, a fat, ugly, monster.” You said, breaking down at the end. Draco rushed over to you and you collapsed in his arms, crying. “I hate it!”
“I know, I know.” He said. “You’re going to be okay. You’re going to get better, I promise.” He stroked your hair and you sat there, crying into his chest, wanting all of this to end.

You didn’t know where you were, or what happened. You woke up in a white bed, with white surroundings. The one thing you did notice was the boy with pale blonde hair sleeping in the chair next to your bed. You tried to sit up, but your body was in extreme pain. You groaned, falling back on the bed.
Draco woke up when he heard her groan. He looked up and saw her move slightly. He shook her.
“Y/N?”
“What?” You asked, confused. Was that your name?
“Oh my god!” He said, looking at you. You were utterly confused. Who was this boy? Did you know him?
“Who are you?” You asked.
“Who am I? Y/N, you're joking right?” He asked.
“I’m sorry.” You said weakly. You didn’t know how long you were asleep for, but you needed something to drink. Luckily, there was water on the bedside table, so you took a drink of it. somebody came by and handed you some pills.
“Mr. Malfoy, you should go get some rest while I deal with Ms. Y/L/N.” The lady said.
“What’s going on? Where am I? Who am I?” You asked quickly, while the lady tended to you.
“Your name is Y/N Y/L/N. You took a fall three days ago. It was a nasty fall, and if weren’t for your boyfriend, you wouldn’t be here. Now will you hold still while I help you?”
“Sorry. What is this place? Who are you?”
“I’m Madame Pomfrey, this is the hospital wing. It’s inside Hogwarts, the school you attend.”
“Oh. Wait, I have a boyfriend?”
“Yes. That boy who you saw when you woke up.”
“I don’t remember anything.”
“That’s common, dear. After a week some of your memories should be back. But for now, since you can’t go to classes, Mr. Malfoy will be showing you around the castle, to try and revive some of your memories.”
“Okay.” She handed you a pile of clothes to change into. It was a green tie, black robe, gray blouse, and gray skirt. You got changed quickly and saw the same boy, Draco, waiting for you.
“Are you ready?”
“Yeah.” So, he started to show you around. It was like they were familiar, but you couldn’t remember much. “Draco?”
“Yeah?”
“What was I like?” You asked and he turned to look at you.
“You were like the most beautiful, awesome, person in the world.” He said, which even though you didn’t remember anything about yourself, caused you to blush.
“What happened? Like between us?”
“Well, we met in second year. We had Potions together. You were my partner and we got to talking. Then, we started dating last year, and then you fell down during Defense Against the Dark Arts. And now you woke up, but without any memories.” He said, trying not to cry.
“Oh. I’m sorry.”
“It’s not your fault. Anyways, do you have any memory of this place?” It was a room. It had couches, chairs, and gave off a warm and comforting aura.
“It’s so familiar. Like, I know this room.” And then it came to you. Memories flooding your brain. Memories of laughing with friends, kissing Draco, everything. You screamed, falling to the floor.
“Y/N? What’s wrong? Are you okay?” He said.
“I remember.” You whispered.
“What?”
“I remember everything.” You said, a little bit louder.
“You remember?” He asked.
“Yeah. Like most of it, I think.” You said and looked at him. “I remember you.” You then stood up and kissed him. It was sweet. he wrapped an arm around you, because even though it was only a few days that you had been unconscious, he really missed you and was glad that you were okay.

“Y/N, does this make me look fat?” Pansy. your friend asked you. You looked up at her. She was trying on a tight fitting dress because she was trying to impress some guy.
“No, Pansy, you always look fat.” She flipped you off and you laughed. The two of you went into the Great Hall and sat down at the Slytherin table. Draco was there. and when he saw you, he winked at you. You sat down next to him.
“Pansy, who are you trying to fuck in that thing?” Blaise asked, looking at the outfit.
“None of your fucking business, Zabini.” He put his hands up in defense and scooted away from her. You rolled your eyes at the situation and turned to Draco.
“Hey babe.” You said to him and he put an arm around you.
“Hey, I heard that there’s a party happening tonight, you wanna come with? We could sneak off and do other things, if you want.” He said, but whispered the last part. This was the kind of relationship you two had. He was the only person you could joke with like that, so he did it back to you.
“Maybe, I’ll show up. Maybe we won’t even make it to the party.” You said, smirking.
“Sounds like a date.” He said and leaned into you. “Wear something pretty.” And with that, him and Blaise walked to their first class.
“Why don’t you two just fuck already?” Pansy asked, eating her food.
“What?” You asked, confused.
“We can all see it, the way you two flirt.” She said.
“That’s all it is, flirting.” You said. “We’d never become something. I don’t think he’d want to.”
“You’re fucking with me, right?”
“Pansy! I don’t think of him that way.” You said, but that was a lie. You did have a crush on Draco. He was funny, and witty. You really did like him, but behind all of your sass, and your wittiness, there was some self-doubt. You were never like other girls, you didn’t enjoy all things pink, you didn’t like playing with dolls. So, this was a new thing.
At the party, you wore a really short dress, courtesy of Pansy, and some heels, that you were regretting. It was loud, and almost everybody had a cup of alcohol in their hands. and then you spotted Draco, who when he saw you, smiled.
“Wow.” He said. “You want a drink?”
“Sure.” You said, and watched him get you a drink.
“Hey sweetheart.” Someone from behind you said, and it made you turn around.
“Who the fuck are you?” You asked, stepping away from him.
“I’ve seen you from afar, with your tight ass, and your-” Before he could say another thing, you had kicked him in the groin.
“Don’t talk about my ass like that. It’s probably better for you to adhere to that. Have a good night.” You said and walked away. Draco saw the whole thing and handed you a drink.
“That was really hot.” He said, and you blushed very slightly. “Did I make you blush?”
“Shut up, asshole.” You said, covering your cheeks.
“I did it! Finally, I made you blush!” He said, jumping up happily.
“You know what? You’re a douche.” You said, trying t suppress your giggling.
“I’m sorry, baby. Did I embarrass you? I’ll make it up to you.” He said and that was when you decided to make the move. You attached your lips to his and he seemed shocked. You quickly pulled apart and walked quickly away from the party, ignoring him calling you.
You sat on the ground, next to your shoes, and looked at your feet. Did that really just happen? You actually kissed Draco, and you liked it.
“Y/N?” Draco asked, looking at you. You stood up and looked at him.
“If you're here to make fun of me, then you can-” He cut you off by kissing you. You wrapped your arms around him as he gripped your waist, pulling you closer to him. So, you were wrong. Draco did have a big fat crush on you as well. He had the best way of showing it.
