i looove love love plum blossom 11 so much and shes probably in my top 5 characters🙏🙏 nothing important but i just wanted to talk about her

i do hope we get a flashback on her in her youth. we know she was upset about her fathers affair and tried to kill plum blossom bro because of it and 13 had to intervene, i feel like this adds a lot of weight onto her character. 13 hates her father for treating her and her siblings horribly and making her mother leave and we get lots of insight about that, but what about 11?  Theres a photo in season 5 of their entire family and their mother, so I would assume they share a mom, but if eleven resented her father than surely she would hate her mom as well for leaving and only bringing 13? Maybe she understood due to the swordsmans abuse but I feel like she wouldn't have accepted it completely. I'd be elated if we got more flashbacks of her and her thoughts on her complicated family. We know a lot about the parents from thirteen, maybe we could get info on all the sisters from eleven (seeing as she's older and didn't leave like 13 i would assume she has some sort of relationship with them in the past.)

My only theory as to her not being upset her mother left is either they didn't actually share a mom, or she had already left their home. I'm assuming she would be 5+ years older than thirteen, so she definitely may have been old enough to leave if she wanted. 

Im also pissy that we didn't get an eleven and swordsman interaction in season five, seeing as she very obviously hates him and was "trespassing" (ALSO MAYBE I HAVE TO REWATCH BUT WAS IT EVER EXPLAINED WHAT SHE WENT BACK TO RETRIEVE AT HER HOME??) she hired dachun for safety so obviously it had to have been something reckless. 

Dachun is also a fav i hope they get married or something in s6 lmaoo/j all this man does is piss her off

I think it'd be a really funny subplot if eleven is like "you know what? My dad doesn't deserve to have an heir!" So her and dachun go and save her 7 year old brother from superhell or some bs

Expounding on my "Killer Seven might be just as stupid as present Seven" post from way back:

Picture Killer Seven, sent on a mission to assassinate someone, and he stumbles across a humble little establishment for weary travelers to rest.

He fills the room with dread. A Shadow Assassin, the one who wields the Thousand Demon Dagger, has shown his face in the middle of nowhere. Anything could happen, but he just sits down at a table.

The owner asks him, afraid: "W-what can I get for you, sir?"

Seven starts drawing something on a piece of paper, ignoring the owner, who asks again, "Are you going to order something?" instead of answering, Seven shows his drawing and asks "Have you seen this person?" And the drawing is

Bad. It's very very bad. About as bad as what he draws in the present, so much the owner asks "That's a person?"

seven repping the symbol is beautiful but i also found it hilarious that manjusaka is just sitting on shimens back

One of the most tragic things I find about Sevens character is that he wanted a normal upbringing SO bad. Every instance he tries to get his memories back, he tries to think of regular things and it's always "what school did I go to?" Etc etc. He wanted to be just like everyone else, only to discover that he never even had the privilege of going to school, he was a weapon from the start. On top of having to deal with this, Seven actively needs to deal with a past life he PHYSICALLY cannot remember, nor correlate with himself. Everybody who knew him back then only views him now as a weaker comparison to who he once was. This poor guy was simply wondering about school, and was instead buried alive basically over what he found out. The blatant disrespect from the people around him hurts to watch too, All anybody comments about Seven was how talented and powerful he used to be. All his current qualities are overlooked for a life he wasn't happy living despite Seven trying so hard to make a life for himself he can enjoy, he's stuck in the shadow of somebody he doesn't know. Seven is, thankfully, one of the most giving AND forgiving people ever and doesn't take these comments to heart. He's spent so long renewing himself and learning how to love and appreciate the world around him only to be diminished into what people still expect him to be. A lot of people believe that the current seven is still pretty weak, but apart from him growing as a person is the idea that he does not WANT to have to rely on his strength to hurt others. Despite being constantly told what an amazing assassin he once was, seven holds back because he loves. Seven loves everyone around him so much he tries at all costs not to resort to the ruthless person he once was.

a lot of this is like basic common sense if you watch the show but i just wanted to point out the hurtful comparisons he faces and i lost the plot halfway through LMAO

dont piss me off the amount of people I see shipping green phoenix and thirteen is fucking crazy. Its the same scenario with Seshomarru and Rin from Inuyasha (who should have NEVER been made a couple in the first place) Phoenix is a mentor and guardian to Thirteen who basically raised her since she was TEN. The idea to even fathom them as a couple is disgusting and I'm not gonna sugarcoat it either because I genuinely can't even see the appeal at all. I mainly only see this on rednote and I really don't understand why people value some halfassed excuse of a ship over (imo) a much more genuine relationship of Phoenix being a guardian she needed growing up. (Maybe not a GREAT guardian seeing as she fends for herself a lot, but a good one who taught her everything she knows.) Im not trying to be THAT GUY but not every age-gap dynamic needs to be a relationship. In fact doing so just waters down and diminishes whatever the characters even have going on. Characters who have a mentor in their lives carries so much more weight and meaning than having a dumbass relationship. Not only is it just wrong it would completely ruin Phoenix character he practically raised her lmao. Weirdos gotta learn that other dynamics that are so much deeper exist, than seeing 2 characters with a crazy age gap and going "omg!! Cute i ship!!" In fact, its not even about 'dynamics' to me im just giving more reasons you shouldn't ship it, just LOOK at them and watch the show its just plain wrong. If you genuinely like them together i am fully convinced you watched one episode.(Phoenix is the GOAT dont fuck up his character like this its offending)

people try not to interpret everything as a relationship challenge and appreciate things for what they are. (((I dont label them as father daughter at all))) but i saw people interpreting this scene the WROONG way for some reason?? If I saw this I'd interpret it as familial above anything

one of the WORST reasons I saw somebody shipping them was because "seven and thirteen feels too rushed and doesnt have depth! Their writing is so flawed!" Are you arrogant or just stupid (im not trying to be rude but i cannot stand people who lack media literacy and then act upon it in stupid ways) 5 seasons of development and CLEAR reasoning on why characters make sense (oh god i could talk abt this one for HOURS) and you'd rather ship her with her literal guardian?? Okay buddy you're on your own with that one.. AND ITS COMPLETELY OKAY to not like 7x13 but don't have stupid reasoning like that. You cannot call them flawed and then go on and ship PHOENIX and THIRTEEN you are completely contradicting yourself.

Every time I rewatch season 3 I find it insanely hilarious that seven does NOT give a fuck that thirteen stabbed him. Yeah, he lives, but her reaction upon returning the medicine makes it kind of obvious she had the intent to kill, and I’m surprised Sevens reaction is just “Oh, yeah, what WAS that???” And I know they got jumped immediately afterwards so he didn’t have time to process, (but it really goes to show love blinds you LMAOO) Either Seven was aware of her intentions but just forgives her immediately, because, it’s Seven, or he’s too stupid to realize what happened and was just like “Oh it’s okay because it’s miss mei” But personally I believe it’s the former.

Seven is more intelligent than he presents himself, and I think it’s cute that more than likely, he was able to tell Thirteen stabbed him out of an impulsive emotional conflict. A lot of the things he does proves he is an extremely observant type of guy (all his battle moves accumulate from the people around him) and he viewed it as a “Thirteen is struggling because she’s being forced to do this” Rather than “She betrayed me” Even when Seven knew the demonic effects were because of the dagger, not once did he ever get mad at thirteen. In fact, when he finds out the effects are from her, his response is “okay?? Can you talk to me so hearing your voice distracts me from the pain??” He’s extremely understanding and senses her guilt, which is not only good for himself, but is probably the biggest relief thirteen could get in that situation, it’s one thing for Green Phoenix to be pissed at her, and if Seven was also upset that’d just suck in general. In fact, there isn’t a line from him that outright states his opinion on getting stabbed, but my personal assumption is he tried to avoid the topic because he saw how guilty thirteen was. (Unsure if its just me, but it really seemed like he was swerving the topic HAHA) His emotions towards thirteen are so strong that the hatred from ‘the evil satan blade of irresistible pain and destruction’ couldn’t even amplify its effects. The two are both assassins who are able to understand eachother on such a deep level, that Seven is immediately able to interpret all of her actions as “thirteen doesnt want to do this.” His entire demeanor even shifts upon seeing her. Keep in mind the blade amplifies AGGRESSION, and weakens his emotional restraint, this literally means he had no hard feelings towards thirteen at ALL. In fact, somehow, after getting stabbed, seeing her guilt made him trust her even more, which is why the effect weakens when he sees her.(GOD DAMN this guy has GAME!!!) The blade feeds off his killing intent, and the effects stopped after thirteen came to save him (ik the medicine she gave him is mostly responsible but like his mood improved too so that’s a bonus) SORRY FOR YAPPING SO MUCH TODAY LMAOOO in summary I just wanted to talk about how cool seven is an how he judges people on intention in order to evaluate their actions and I think we should all be more observant like seven

u pretty much nailed it to a t here but i also wanna add (i can't add the clip) that at the start of season 1 we hear dai bo exactly say "seven's dumber than a box of rocks and i've lied to him a million times, but no matter what, he still considers me a friend."

he's the most forgiving person ever. even if he does or doesn't understand her motivations here - which i think he does, to a degree - seven is ultimately so forgiving. friends and love are the most important things to him, so no matter what happens, if he can understand their reasonings, or look past it, he will. because he loves them

i won't deny that the giw and seven have a deep backstory and connection, maybe arguably more than thirteen and seven (i saw people talking about this on tiktok, HOWEVERR in my personal opinion i dont think this is entirely true.) it makes me wonder where thirteens path is gonna lead in season 6 since her arc finally took off, I wonder how they'll play out. I think what I like the most about them is that it isn't just seven fighting like it was previously, and instead they both take turns protecting each other. I only bring this up because I saw people upset at the fact giw may not come back and for whatever reason, they just dont like thirteen?? The entire point of seven telling people they're mad at the old him and the things he did is that SHE IS A COMPONENT OF HIS PAST, and I think thats a stupid argument because they weren't evaluating thirteens character at ALL, only her relationship with seven and thats just really dull. I LOVE the giw's character, but her coming back in their current timeline for Seven doesn't make sense to me. Giw is a symbol for helping Seven move on.

their backstory has a lot of implications - there's a lot of weight behind their actions. but inherently, it's not all that deep. it was summed up in one episode. it isn't that deep, because the girl in white isn't that deep. her relationship with seven cannot be deeper than thirteen's with seven, because she was nothing else but a ploy for seven. she was nobody, and the only thing she would ever do that would matter is the plan. which, mind you, the intent from the start was always to eliminate him - regardless of how she chose to execute that in the end.

thirteen's relationship with seven is not built off of that. it is built off the first action she takes in the pilot episode: saving him, inadvertently or not, from a robot trying to kill him. this instantly proves her capacity for empathy, her unwillingness to stand aside and let things run their course. it proves she is capable of saving someone, even if it's not a choice she'd make on purpose right now. and above that, 'saving' somebody for thirteen would always mean protecting them.

for the girl in white, it never was. she 'saved' seven by 'killing' him - the girl in white did not have the will, nor power, nor want to defy the odds. because she was nobody and nothing except for the plan. the girl in white takes the easy way out - the way that she 'saves' seven isn't entirely what he would've wanted - yes, the current seven thanks her for this opportunity, but the past seven would never have chosen this. he would have fought for her. because that's what mattered most to seven - past and present.

seven and thirteen are able to trust each other, fight for each other, often blindly choosing each other over unimaginable ramifications.

ultimately it doesn't matter which is deeper - i think the point kind of is girl in white is nothing aside from the plan up until she chooses to 'save' seven in this way, and thirteen is still her own present character. judging her solely off her relationship with seven is always gonna misrepresent her. and people won't ever understand her relationship with seven fully, because to understand their relationship, you have to understand thirteen.

I think the biggest problem is people think tragic=deep and because of this mindset, they fail to understand sevens relationships with other characters. How can someone look at thirteen and her character growth through FIVE seasons and go "eh, giw is more important." I agree it's not a competition on who has a better connection with seven, moreover it's people comparing the two and misinterpreting them. Giw and thirteen aren't even made to be compared which is why I don't understand how people come to that conclusion, thirteen is a completely separate character both in writing and the show, and people creating useless comparisons leads them nowhere. Giw is important to sevens story, yes, but presently not anymore and the show has stated that multiple times ***GUYSS if seven can move on from the giw so can you!!!*** giw did everything because she was told to. All of thirteens actions are her own judgement.
