ā Oh come on, I met her yesterday, she canāt already be attached⦠I mean, itās not that unlikely. ā he said it as if it was just another fact of life ā the sky was blue, the sun set at the end of every day and Wesley Rhodes was just irresistible. The smile, amusing in its display, only widened as he heard her tone dripping with sarcasm.Ā ā You know I could never forget you. ā he took his bottom lip in between his teeth, a sly smile curving his lips.Ā ā Everybody likes attention, Imogen. Donāt play the saint. āĀ His gaze traveled to her slender fingers that were occuppied by her locks before returning to focus on her eyes.Ā ā My intentions ? My intentions were always anything but innocent, thought you knew that. āĀ
āYou never know with some people, gotta be careful who you pick and choose; next thing youāll know youāll have a psycho poking holes in your condom and then youāll be royally fucked.ā She shrugged. Despite the banter, Imogen found it odd that she didnāt actually dislike Wesley. Itās a 1/10 chance she finds someone who doesnāt annoy the living hell out of her in the first five minutes of conversation.Ā āEw, gross; donāt talk to me like Iām one of your play-things.ā Her tone humorous, but the statement was true.Ā āOh no, I am well aware of your intentions, and so is every other human in a hundred mile radius, Wes.ā
wesrhodes:
Wesley pretended to ponder, but the truth of the matter was that they both knew the blond was not lying. ā I can confirm the first claim although Iām going to have to deny the latter. Iām pretty sure she actually was Erica. Like seventy percent sure. ā Wes mused, nonchalance reigning in his tone to emphasize the lack of concern. He gave her an innocent smile while his tongue was smoothing over his teeth. ā At least I remember your name. ā injecting the most coquettish tone he could find, he gave a wink. Wesley gave an eyeroll, the action littered with smug amusement before feigning a scoff. ā Are you slut-shaming me ? ā he joked and clutched at his heart dramatically. Her actions didnāt go by unnoticed and as she eyed him, his signature satisfied smirk was plastered across his lips. ā And what if this is the last Iāll see of you todayĀ ? āĀ
āPoor girl.ā Imogen sympathized for a mere second, before remembering who she was talking to, and scoffed.Ā āIām amazed and honoured that you took to the time to actually remember me.ā Her tone was laced with sarcasm.Ā āOh please, donāt flatter yourself, you know you like the attention, Wes.ā She pursed her lips slightly and twirled a blonde lock absent-mindedly.Ā āHmm..ā She trailed,Ā āWell that depends, what are your intentions...?ā she paused,Ā ājust out of curiosity.ā She shrugged nonchalantly, shifting her weight onto her other foot.
jackkoenig:
āA lake house? I love lake houses. What kinda shit have you got? I like rum, you better have rum.ā
āI myself, prefer gin, but I can probably muster up some rum Ā I suppose.ā
jackkoenig
āIāve gotta know where said place is. I bet you live somewhere super fancy, your hairs too nice for you not to be on the higher side of the economical scale.ā
āI live in that giant oversized lake house down by the waterfront. It has a dumb sign on it that saysĀ āWallace Palaceā. Itās a little ridiculous.ā
jackkoenig:
āGood, looks like Iām among my own kind for once. Blondes do it better, am I right?āĀ
āSame here, swing by my place at say, 6? I need to get hammered, and soon.ā
wesrhodes:
Wesley warranted his displeased reaction unnecessary when he recognized the gold locks. If it was any of his coworkers, heād insist on them leaving without coming to a halt. But with Imogen it was more amusing. He feigned a scoff though his laughter was hard to conceal. ā Of course it was a moment, a very special one. If you must know, me and Ashlā Erica care a lot about each other. ā Wesley countered stoically, smiling down at the girl in an awfully faux saccharine way before whispering some other white lies into her ear about how heāll call her the next day and that theyāll resume their actions later. With a kiss goodbye she was on her way out and Wesā eyes locked on Imogenās pair as he shook his head no. ā My sense of creativity is excellent, but Iām running out of options here. What can I say, Iāve done it all. ā his faint red lip tugged upwards creating a sinister smirk. ā Iām open to suggestions, so go on.Ā āĀ
She stood there with her arms crossed, a judgemental look strung across her features. Rolling her eyes as he undoubtedly filled the poor girlās head with lies, not stepping out of her way as she left. Ā āI think we both know that you couldnāt care less, and besides Iām pretty sure that poor girlās name is indeed not Erica.ā She chuckled lightly, tilting her head backwards, before locking eyes with Wes again.Ā āIs that something to be truly proud of? Do you put that on your resume?ā Rolling her eyes, she tossed a handful of hair over her shoulder.Ā āThatās cute, but Iām really not interested in any sexual endeavours today.ā She eyed him up and down,Ā āBut, you could try again later thoughā, smirking ever so slightly.
gtgjude:
āsee,ā jude starts, pointing towards the sidewalk from inside the grocery store briefly and then fiddling with his wallet, āthatās the best thing about marion pointe.ā his cheeks dimple as he turns to the other: āthe pedestrians! they actually wait for the walking signal.ā
Imogen was zoned out, staring at the tabloids, she skimmed them over and sighed, nothing actually worth the read. She was soon snapped out of her bubble when a stranger decided to initiate a conversation. She shook her head,Ā āIām sorry, are you talking to me?āĀ
caspergoss:
āA challenge? Not exactly sure how I could make myself one. Iām not really a bad boy or anything like that so I wouldnāt be expecting drugs and leathers jacket if I were you.ā
āRich girl hiding out in some city in Oregon, not actually surprising. So, is it Witness Protection Program or just hiding from parents?ā
āAw lame, you seemed like fun.āĀ
āI sound like a cliche teen drama movie. Iām not exactlyĀ hidingĀ from my parents, just simply stretching the truth I guess you could say.ā
wesrhodes:
A cacophony of supplies colliding with a stone floor emerged as he pushed everything off the desk, with ease placing the girl on top of it instead. Wesley could feel her slender fingers start pulling at the hem of his shirt, a cocky grin placed on his slightly swollen lips as his head dipped down to start kissing her neck. With Wesleyās eager hands successively moving over her thighs, the now shirtless boy was abruptly snapped back into reality at the sound of someone entering the otherwise empty classroom. A loud sigh and a deathly glare over his shoulder was directed towards the intruder. Gesturing between himself and the woman to enhance the nature of the moment that had been so rudely interrupted, he spoke up. ā Do you mind ? ā- Ā Ah, whatever, you ruined the moment. āĀ
Imogen was wandering aimlessly through the halls, with no clear sense of where she was going, she was just hoping to pass the time until the bars were open, because frankly, itās not socially acceptable to ask for a gin and tonic with your brunch. She pulled out her cellphone and saw she had 3 missed calls from her parents.Ā āGross.ā She thought out loud, right before hearing a loud clang of some sorts coming from the room she was passing; curious, Imogen paused and peered into the class before opening it, and laughed.Ā āHasnāt this scene happened in like twenty lame rom-coms before? Whereās your sense of creativity?ā She poked at him.Ā āAnd besides, having lame-office sex isnāt exactly what Iād deem as having aĀ āmomentā.ā
you chug a fifth of alcohol by yourself & everyone around you is too busy cheering to wonder how empty you had to be in order to do it
this fucked me up (viaĀ obsessiveloserr)
