Neck resetting of the early 90′s Gibson J-185. No wonder it was so difficult to remove the neck. I didn’t know that there was an extension block under the fingerboard.

90年代初頭のGibson J-185のネックリセットです。いつもと違ってネックがなかなか外れなかったのですが、ネックが外れてその理由が判明しました。まさか指板の下にブロックがあるとは…。

Regluing the bridge of the 1937 Kalamazoo by Gibson KG-11. 1937年製カラマズーbyギブソン KG-11のブリッジ再接着。

Neck reset of the 1937 Kalamazoo by Gibson KG-11. Just removed the neck. 1937年製、Kalamazoo by Gibson KG-11 のネックリセット。熱い蒸気により、塗装が白濁化しますが、コンパウンドで磨いて取り除きます。

Early 70’s Martin D-28. The pickguard was warped. It’s been shrunken since it’s made of celluloid. The owner of the guitar wanted to keep the original pickguard. 1970年代初頭のマーティンD-28です。ピックガードが反ってしまっています。ピックガードはセルロイド製なので収縮していますが、ギターの持ち主はオリジナルをキープしたいということで、平らにしてからそのまま接着しました。

Just finished repairing the 1939 Kalamazoo by Gibson KG-14 on the right. Now it’s time to start working (neck reset) on the 1937 Kalamazoo by Gibson KG-11 on the left. 右側の1939年製 Kalamazoo by Gibson KG-14の修理が終わりました。これから左側の1937年製Kalamazoo by Gibson KG-11の修理(ネックリセット)に取り掛かります。

Heat-straightening the neck of the early 1970s Martin D-28. 1970年代初期のMartin D-28のネックを熱加工処理しています。因みに、トラスロッドは無しです。

Fixing the rattling noise coming from the truss rod of the Santa Cruz OM/PW. I tapped the back of the neck and the noise was not solid at all since the truss rod was loosened in the cavity of the neck. I removed the 7th fret, drilled a hole in the fret slot and inserted the glue.

Santa Cruz OM/PW の修理です。ネックの中からカラカラした音が出ていました。ネックの裏側を軽く叩くと歪んた音がします。ネックの中のトラスロッドが緩んでいるのです。７フレットを抜いてフレット溝に穴を開け（トラスロッドに届くまで）、そこに接着剤を流し込みます。カラカラした音は消えました。
