Color changing old Coke machine!
Wine rack and installed taps
Filling in the gaps with bondo and priming the metal.
Welded keg support frame and sprayed more insulation.
Piecing together insulated parts from the other fridge to create more room for cold air.
Carved out parts of the commercial refrigerator structure, and placed it inside the Coke Machine. With all that bumping and grinding I was surprised that it still turned on!
After many, many measurements and craigslist phone calls, I found the perfect size compressor from a small commercial bar fridge. Ripping it out and I think I can retrofit it within the coke machine. Total cost so far is less than $200.
Started messing around with LED lighting. Found some on amazon that are remote controlled and can change to any color.
Started insulating the door with Great Stuff expanding spray. Apparently this stuff is superb because of the closed-cell insulating foam.
More cleaning. Found that Brillo pads work wonders on tarnished, rusty metal.
Started ripping it apart piece by piece. Found 7 frogs living inside. The cats were pretty excited about this, though one got vacuumed up with the shop-vac.
Found an old 1960's coke machine on craigslist. It's nasty dirty, rusty, and no chance it works. Think this will do perfectly for a shell of a kegerator.
