Easily the longest relationship either of us would’ve ever had! You’ve heard that? Interesting. She was never like that on our show. Her and I clashed plenty during the tail end of the original run, but that was more because of me being a moody asshole than her being anything but a kind and hardworking person.

i imagine you’ve encountered some pretty wild ladies. i feel like musicians get that kind of response all the time. something about a man who can sing that gets all the ladies excited. nothing wrong with not being used to it though, like it only proves how humble you are. nothing wrong with being humble. it’s a good look.
Umm... yes, quite a few. Some guys, too. I don’t really think I can even sing, but people still turn up for my concerts, so they must enjoy something. I don’t think it’s my dad dancing. Thank you for saying so.

It was a greta time. He will be two early next year so he is still so little. I am glad to hear that you are doing great. I am glad you have been able to spend time with him.
Wow, what a great age. Just starting to be able to communicate to the world, even if it’s not always with words. I love watching little ones discover everything around them - so full of wonder. Thank you, yeah, he’s usually so busy with school, but he’s been making more time for his old man this year, and I’ve been trying to make more time for him, too. So it’s been a good bonding experience. He’s trying to teach me how to use technology, like Zoom for interviews, because I’m totally in the dark about these things.
I know I have been so quiet. I have just been having some time with the family and looking after Aphie. I would say she is getting big but she is still around the same size as when she first came home with me. I had a visitor the other day. There was a knock on the door and when I opened it, there was a little gorilla there. When I say that, I mean my little grandson dressed up as one. With my daughter and son in law dressed as bananas. Anyway…how are you all?

Sounds like a great time to me. Sometimes it’s good to just be living in the moment with those closest to you and blocking the rest of the world out for a bit. How old is your grandson? I’m doing great! Been spending a lot of time with my son lately, and that’s been really nice. He’s always so busy off having adventures that I can hardly make him sit still for more than five minutes.

When it comes out of the oven, my food looks like absolute shit compared to the one on the video, and it makes me feel like I can’t bake at all, but it tasted good, so that’s the main thing. All I know is that I shouldn’t be a chef.
Four? I mean... I’ll try! If I end up in a cheesecake coma, it’s all on you. Yeah, especially when it comes to the colors and decoration. I tried to bake one of those rainbow cakes once, and it went so horribly wrong, I just pretended like it wasn’t a rainbow cake. It was edible, at least, but yeah... not a good look.

Everyone was all for Mulder and Scully. I think there’s defenitly some people who just click but not romantically and it just..oozes out into the performance.
A lot of people are for David and Gillian, too. I’ve heard crazy conspiracies about how we’ve been secretly dating this whole time, and shit like that. We think it’s funny, and play up to it sometimes.

don’t sell yourself short, even for an old man you could still get it. you’d be surprised at how many younger girls would find you incredibly attractive. some girls are more attracted to maturity than age.
Don’t mind me just making a mental note of that. Yeah, no, at some of my concerts in the past I’ve had women at least half my age yelling for me to take my pants off and that kinda thing. But you never get used to it.

I had a couple of girlfriends play potential love interests for Mulder in X Files, but it’s weird how that natural chemistry never quite translated as well on screen. But then somehow me and Gillian, who’ve not had that kind of relationship behind the scenes, it’s all over the screen.

the amount of times I have been told that is vivid… that’s usually why I’ve never told much until I am filming anymore. I did however catch your attention though? your daughter is a fan of the show? I can’t give you exact spoilers but… i can give you some information that your daughter might give you cool points for. it’s being filmed in two different places right now not giving too much info… but you know.. Atlanta is pretty crowded.. so is New Mexico.. wink wink. without getting into too much trouble!
You say New Mexico, my mind immediately goes to Roswell. Are we finally gonna have some aliens?
