i.     this blog is private and low - medium activity.     if you knew a cole previously, it was probably me. i've been in darp for far too long, mostly on seeblood and here. i definitely am more active on discord and am happy to write there, too!

ii.     i usually default to second person pov when writing.     you don't have to match, it's just easier for me to write in.     i double space words as it helps me read larger sections of text better!

iii. i heavily prefer plotted threads to random starters / interactions. plotting can be as simple as " what if x happened. " it doesn't have to be in - depth!

iv. pear's domnall cousland is the only hero of ferelden i will romantically ship with! dom is very integral to my portrayal of morrigan. in any threads ( with non - hofs ) that reference kieran / his father, that is dom, unless specifically plotted otherwise ( i.e., allistair instead ). morrigan's friendship with the hof is still very important to me and something i love to explore. regardless of romance kieran is present. i would just like it to be plotted in regards to how. i am open to shipping otherwise. morrigan is bisexual.

a hand reflexively reaches to the pendant around your neck. you roll it between fingers, toy with the chain, suddenly too aware of its presence. it holds meaning — meaning you have not been able to decipher, meaning that may differ between you both. you hadn't considered implications when putting it on, only that it was fine jewelry worthy of wear — something you longed for as a girl. it makes your stomach knot. an unfamiliar feeling brought on by unfamiliar kindness.

it made you tease when domnall offered it. you laughed, amused, to hide the complexities beneath. accepted nonetheless, but gifts are foreign. they make you writhe with a feeling you do not understand — you can't quite place how it feels know you were considered, thought of. a gift with a price or expectation is simple. one without is not.

some quick hits that are still important to me

morrigan still uses the golden mirror every day, even through to veilguard. she has kept every gift from the warden and cherishes them deeply.

any warden that was a friend was given the rings. it was not purely romantic. the rings allowed her to keep track of the warden and know they are safe. it only works one way, and she does not mention the purpose.

every friend warden was given a book during witch hunt. i have some thoughts on what it was, but its been awhile and have to look into it again. generally something having to do with her discoveries in the fade / the origin of the blight.

morrigan and flemeth but as sorceresses that live out in crookback bog and lure men to their deaths and morrigan just wants out and hates it and wants her own life but also scared of flemeth

when kieran was born, morrigan suffered from mild postpartum depression &, truthfully, did not want to be a mother. she never had kieran with the dream of being a mother in mind. while she was blind to it for some time, he was purely a pawn. a means to an end. however over the two years spent alone with him & watching him grow, she learned to love him.

it was several years before she was comfortable with being a mother, & even longer before she realized she would do anything to protect him. kieran loving her & her loving him became the most important thing.
