I haven’t been very big on manga in a long time, but I’m reading this right now and I’d really like to suggest it to everyone ever. The art is wonderful, and the subject matter is just plain interesting as all hell. Plus, things that aren’t common in Western cultures are portrayed in a tasteful fashion.
I guess that now that Save The Pearls is a thing I can, for the time being, get off of people’s backs about 50 Shades of Grey because their taste in literature could officially be worse
This holds the distinction of being the worst silver lining in the history of everything

So when I first saw that picture by Calliope I thought it resembled what it looks like when there's a white dwarf near a red giant, sucking in the larger star's material.
It's been a long time since I've made theories and stuff for an update (I don't think I have since like... pre-Cascade times...). I'm back, to make some observations about [S] Caliborn: Enter.
But the thing is: I WAS ALREADY HERE.
Caliborn bit off his own fucking leg I MEAN THAT'S PRETTY INTENSE.
Lord English displays some more time shenanigans
He apparently has the ability to FIRE A FUCKING LAZER FROM HIS MOUTH HOLY SHIT DOG.
He also is using Calliope's wand for some reason.
HE CAN DESTROY DREAM BUBBLES HOLY FUCK MAN.
So yeah... he's pretty fucking terrifying throughout this update and it definitely surpasses Jack Noir/Bec Noir on the "creepy-ass motherfucker God I'm scared of you" scale.
Speaking of Jack Noir/Bec Noir, a certain scene in the update really stood out to me.
We see Jack Noir/Bec Noir, who has been playing the main antagonist of Homestuck for so long... just kind of struck speechless in a way.
I mean, Noir has been a driving force in the story for a very long time, hell, the reason the events in [S] Cascade even happened was because the kids (as well as the trolls) were trying to escape Jack Noir/Bec Noir. He's the reason the trolls are so pissed off and contact the kids in the first place. He's scary, a killing machine, and nigh unbeatable. It seemed like the only hope for anyone was to plain escape him, or have PM fight him.
But here he is, struck dumb by the pure destructive power of Lord English.
This is the point where we realize: Noir really isn't that bad. There's a new villain in town, but he was already there. Lord English has been around in some form in the story for quite some time, and I'm not even saying the Intermission is where it starts. That's more of a formal reference to him. Caliborn/Lord English has some connection with Lil Cal, we all know that, but has he been referenced in the story this whole time by him? Dave thinks Lil Cal is creepy as fuck, a lot of people do. He's put off by him, others are put off by him.
Lord English was already here. Through Lil Cal, Doc Scratch, the Intermission, up to when he is formally revealed in the second Intermission flash after [S] Cascade.
And now, finally, the villain baton has been passed to him (Raise of the Conductor's Baton, anyone? His pimp stick kind of looks like one).
I like that Dave is viewing this destruction, because there's the possibility he may be the one to defeat Caliborn/Lord English. How? I don't know. But I find it suitable that another Hero of Time would deal some damage. And I just kind of have a feeling that he will. Why?
When your next God Tier level is labelled "Pimpslayer" I get ideas.
Moving on.
As for Caliborn's kernel, as tumblr user olivemeister pointed out, he prototyped his kernel with Calliope's kernel. And since the nature of a kernel is to take something in to prototype it, kernelception would manifest as a black hole, sucking in everything. How will this effect his version of the Medium? We don't know yet.
Also, I'm pretty sure now that he's somehow going to reach God Tier. When he lands in the dream bubble (to ultimately destroy it) his memories appear like anyone else. This manifests as the green mansion from the Intermission and also a quest bed for a Hero of Time. What's his title? We don't know yet but I'm pretty sure it's the Lord of Time. I mean, come on, it's too obvious.
I do wonder though, what became of Aranea, Meenah, and any other possible Beta session trolls? Were they destroyed in that specific dream bubble? Or were they somewhere else. We didn't see them in that one when Lord English destroyed it, so I think they're in another dream bubble entirely.
