My friend Sonican on twitter is having a pet emergency! His cat Mochi is in desperate need of surgery for her kidney condition and needs help. While my friend has managed to raise $570, he still needs over $3,750 to cover her medical bills, including a $1,700 down payment so her surgery can begin as soon as possible.

Not only has her kidney condition worsened, causing swelling in Mochi's stomach buther stomach has begun swelling and even developing sores.

I've talked about it with friends before but deciding to take a break from writing really has been a really healing decision. It was getting to a point where I didn't want to go to Ellipsus or even even AO3, because I got so irritated I closed out of so many tabs of fics I was still reading. I know the advice you normally hear when going through creative blocks is to force your way through it but honestly when you've exhausted that option and it still doesn't work the next best thing is to take a break and just not do the thing for however long you need

And I definitely need a months-long break from writing TuT so instead I'm just focusing on art and hopefully soon enough I'll be posting a doodle or two here of my beloveds because I wanna join in the fun
