after over year on this account, i realized that i never did an official intro post. so, here we are!
my name is marybeth (sometimes called meg because those are my initials), and i have been a huge fan of yours since your our song days! i remember my mom playing your CD in the car on the way home from preschool, and ever since then i have been a fan.
in my past, i have struggled a lot with loving myself for who i am, physically and mentally. there have been a lot of things that have helped me recover and bounce back, but your music has been one of the things that has helped the most. the song “Mean” was there for me when bullies got me down. the song “Mary’s Song” was there when i needed to feel good (plus it’s my name so how cool is that??). “Holy Ground” was there when i needed to smile and jump around my room. “The Lucky One” was there when I needed a good cry.
Speaking of “The Lucky One”, when you played that as the surprise song at my FIRST EVER concert, I started sobbing. That song means more to me than you will ever know!!
I have been noticed by TN twice on Twitter, once when they followed me and once when they retweeted me!! Those were both awhile ago though 😂😂.
