Witch Safety - Coven Scouting
Witches who are looking for Covens around them should definitely be careful when it comes to meeting with a potential Coven Leader or another witch in general. First meetings are exciting with the potential prospect of becoming part of a coven or making a new nearby witch friend, but you should always be wary. Here are some ways you can stay safe:
Never give anyone your surname, college, home, or work address until you are ABSOLUTELY certain that they are trustworthy.
Don’t give out your mobile or home numbers until you have verified their contact details. Have them give you their number and verify it to make sure it is in fact their number. If you feel comfortable in giving out your info, go for it. Just be cautious.
Always arrange meetings on neutral ground, like a coffee shop or somewhere you’re used to. Meet during times where there’s a lot of people if you can.
If you can, take a buddy with you to ensure that you’re safe. If they simply observe from a short distance that’s okay! Whatever makes you feel safer and more comfortable.
Never go off with someone to a quiet place. If they have something in their car that they want to show you, wait for them to retrieve it and come back. You never know what their intentions are.
Don’t give away too much personal information!
Always have the ability to go home within your own power. Don’t let the stranger take you home.
If you are uncertain for any reason or have some weird vibes, back out.
Remember to stay safe my fellow witches. It’s imperative that you are cautious and take the necessary precautions of meeting with other witches.
