biography:
Growing up in Cedar Point, with three siblings and her father being in politics, Olivia knew to be independent from a young age. Her family were extremely wealthy, the girls were definitely well traveled throughout her childhood. Between her extravagant parents dinner parties and jet setting off to Spain for family holidays, Oliva's childhood was busy and chaotic, and she had always been the outcast of the family. The one to piss off her parents, or open her mouth at the wrong time.
During her teen years, Olivia battled with her sexuality and after her first relationship with a boy, realized she might have been bisexual. But after her first experience with a girl she realized she was very wrong. She was a lesbian. Coming out to her sisters was the easy part, but coming out to her parents? They nearly disowned her and Olivia then spiraled into a deep depression.
When the opportunity to go to college came along in Los Angeles, to study art, she jumped on the chance for a change of pace, and she got just that. Most people’s college years were wild, and it wasn’t even that Olivia's weren’t - it just seemed like peace and quiet in comparison. The most wild thing about it was when she found out her partner was living some kind of Hannah Montana lifestyle. Lola he person who Olivia eventually went on to marry without her parents in attendance even though their wedding was extremely high profile due to her wife's fame. Liv then found herself a job as a tattoo apprentice whilst she was studying, it quickly became a dream of hers to own her own studio.
After graduating, Olivia had realized that working for someone else so she started saving and working her ass off. Olivia had already perfected her work, so finding clients to her wasn’t actually that hard. Before she knew it, she had employees too. Her business was really starting to take off and so was her love life considering she had met a woman she was about to marry. Olivia's life was finally falling into place.
Kids came after marriage, so Olivia decided that it was the right time to move back to Cedar Point to settle down. But tragedy followed shortly after when Lola realized she couldn't conceive due to having a hysterectomy when she was young, leaving this up to Olivia who never had really thought about kids until getting married. Now she's battling with the realization of becoming a mother and having a child.
Olivia was spinning and spiraling. Alcohol and weed pumping through her veins, she'd been having fun up until the bar closed and she found herself on her sisters doorstep. Avoiding the little cottage full of happy memories. Nobody knew yet but news traveled fast in Cedar, so she wouldn't be surprised if she was interrogated by half the town in the morning.
She was also fucking exhausted after the day she had, a full day of clients then to come home to her wife and all her belongings gone, the note on the counter being the only remanence of her not being a missing person. This to Olivia felt like her parents had finally won. Nothing she could do about it now, just 'cause a scene. "Charlie," her voice cracked as her sister opened the door. "She's gone, she left me."
The sharp knocks had her heart pumping, Honey going absolutely ballistic, only adding to her worry. Tired thoughts tried to piece together why someone would be at her door this late at night. Unfortunately, her proclivity for overthinking made the imagined scenarios only dire ones. She threw a robe over her as she descended the stairs, the tap of her dog's paws shadowing behind her. Fingers tried to make her bed-tousled curls a bit more presentable before opening the door. The last thing she expected was to be met with Olivia, and most certainly not Olivia with a rosy and tear-stained face.
"Livvy, what is going-" Her question was soon cut off by her sister's admission. Charlotte could feel her heart drop, breaking for her little sister. But that certainly couldn't be the truth, right? She quickly pulled her inside and placed a loving kiss on the top of her sister's head, blonde tresses falling into one another.
"Tell me what happened, Livvybird. Start from the beginning."
Olivia truly hadn't meant to scare her sister, but she really didn't know where else to go. When the other blonde opened the door, all Liv could do was sniffle, doing her very best not to totally break down into tears again, like she had been on the walk to Holly Oak Circle. "The note said she'd been seeing someone else," she blurted out, the air catching in her lungs as Charlotte wrapped her arms around her. That was when she cracked.
Olivia realized she'd been too wound up in the baby stuff to see that her marriage had totally fallen apart. "Someone who wants to have a family with her." The blonde let out a small sob, hands clutching the necklace from her wife that hung around her neck. Whilst, Liv never voiced her concerns, she must have been transparent considering that was left in the letter. "I was just trying to come to terms with it." @charlotte-harrington
I'm a real bad girl but a real good kisser
Leave me alone, bitch, I wanna have fun
Got my hair tied up, phone on "Don't disturb"
Leave me alone, bitch, I wanna have fun
Wear my jeans so low, show my little back dimple
Leave me alone, bitch, I wanna have fun
Even line my lips just to match my nipples
Leave me alone, bitch, I wanna have fun
"Tell me about it. This has to be a blind date. I can't imagine her knowing this man and proceeding to accept this date." he said, shaking his head as the man continued to go on about some cousin and people always going to him for help. More than half of it had to be a lie. "Most likely plotting his murder. Should we be messy and send her drinks? Maybe he'll step up his game if he has competition."
"We could," Olivia contemplated it, her head tilting to the side as she thinks. "But also, she's not really like, telling him to fuck off." It certainly looked like a blind date gone wrong as the other male continued to ramble on, but she decided to add fuel to the fire. "What if they're one of those kinky roleplaying couples or something? This is could be part of the set up and they're gonna go have wild ass sex after this?" @fridaynightmuses
"I'll be taking that." The blonde's perfectly manicured fingers reached to pluck the smoke from the other person's hand. Olivia had been having fun, maybe a little too much fun. Dancing around, chatting people up and being rather obnoxious. People knew about the divorce now, she didn't care that people knew but she wanted to prove to the world that she didn't need her marriage. "Considering I just beat your ass at pool, I think I deserve it." The sweaty haired blonde gave her friend a grin, leaning back against the concrete wall of the bar.
Tessa enters her favorite place on earth. The thing to save her day and awaken her only feet away. But before she can take another step closer to the corner to order her ice latte, the figure of the person standing at the register immediately rings as familiar. Her intuition only becoming more on point when she catches the slightest glimpse of the side of his face.
Shit.
Turning, her eyes fall upon the empty booth across from someone who was simply minding their business. Sliding in across from them, she smiles wide, "Hi, please pretend that you're happy to see me." She pleads, "I'll owe you. Whatever you want." She glances over her shoulder back at the register, but the second it'd look like their eyes would catch, she whips her head back towards the person across from her, "How's your day? You look good."
Liv had been putting on a brave face being out in public now the news of her divorce began to circle around the sleepy small town. When she heard a voice she thought it would be someone coming to console her, but when she realized it wasn't, she was certainly relieved. Her head did cock to the side though out of curiosity. "Oh my god, hi, it's so good to see you," the blonde gives the other woman her best smile.
A small nod went to the chair beside her, motioning to the other to sit down, this way the brunette's back would be toward the person she was avoiding. "Sit we can catch up." Olivia offered, taking a big sip of he oat milk hazelnut latte. "Who is that?" She leaned in to ask quietly. @tessalcampbell
She quickly raised her hand and her eyes widened. "Oh girl, I wasn't meaning right now, so sorry if I made it sound like that." she laughed awkwardly, worried she came off like she was demanding an appointment immediately. "I just meant in general.. like whenever you have a good opening..." She smiled and looked at the tattoos. "Thank you.. I have more but these two are my oldest and they are looking rough." When the girl said she could do both of them now she bit the inside of her cheek. "How much you think those would cost?" Finances were super tight for Imani so she probably could only afford one today. "Oh yeah that was my bad for picking that location. But you live and learn right?" Imani reached her hand out to shake the other woman's hand. "I'm Imani... Olivia's a cute ass name though. Makes me want a martini" @olivahw
"Oh you're fine, this town is so tiny I've been in the bathroom at the bar and people have tried to put their idea's under the stall for me to tell the how much something would cost, you walking in here and being polite about it is the last of my worries." Olivia tells the other female, a warm smile upon her peachy pink lips. "In that case, depends on if you want them both done at once or not? My hourly rate is $150, it's just touch ups so it shouldn't take us too long." The blonde beamed as she shook the other's hand. "Listen, I'm tempted for that martini, I won't lie." She laughed. "But it's nice to meet you, Imani." @xoimani
"Hmm...thought about it, but I figured I would try this whole thing of dating first." April smiled cheekily at Olivia, laughing lightly. "What am I? Your little eyes on the dating scene? All I can say it isn't all that great, it's a tough world out here for us mere single people." @olivahw
"Yes," Olivia answered bluntly, but she was laughing. Liv only wanted April to be happy, it didn't matter how. "I'm happily married, but I want my friends to be happily laid, so I will encourage all the fucking on your part." She paused, popping her drink on the table. "If it's not that great, honestly just stick to having sex." @aprilrcse
Another sisterly and playful glare was sent Olivia's way. "I'll put it in my work calendar. Then I could never forget it." Charlotte continued to tease, though the air soon changed as her sister continued to speak.
A soft kiss was placed on the side of her sister's head. "Of course, we can still eat." she assured as she moved back over to the plates, making up one for her sister. She couldn't imagine the stress she was under; family planning was hard enough without the added weight of their parents' judging eyes being all over them. If there was a way she could help, Charlotte would do it and as quickly as possible. "Of course you're going to. You had that bit of freedom, right? Can't be easy coming back to them, trying to pry wherever they can." the blonde lamented as she handed her sister a plate. "Anything in particular about that? Or just in general? Because it is a big step. You can't judge yourself too harshly for freaking out a bit."
Charlotte wiggled her eyebrows playfully as she opened up her pantry, dozens of bottles glistening in the low kitchen light. "One nice thing about the 'dates' Mom and Dad set me up on; all want to come over with wine and all want to show off by getting the most expensive bottle they can." Charlotte admitted with another laugh. "Pick your poison."
"I saw Eli the other day, I joked that dad's got tabs on us through the whole cctv footage," Olivia laughed, shaking her head. "But Charlie, I don't know if that's a joke or not." It just felt like their father was everywhere now he was Mayor, then it got back to their mother who didn't need to be so squeaky clean about her in private actions. She takes a few mouthfuls, before letting out a heavy sigh. "So, Lola's had some health problems and she's had a hysterectomy. Which means, obviously, for the next steps I would have to carry the baby." And that scared her the most. Olivia wasn't one of those women who wanted to be pregnant, or go through birth. She was terrified of complications, how her body was going to change, the hospital, being a mom? Everything.
Liv's eyes widened slightly at the amount of wine in her sisters pantry, shaking her head. "You might have more wine in there than the actual winery." Her head then tilted to the side. "Okay, well, pick the most expensive and then I feel like it's only right you tell me the story to go with it 'cause I figure they've all got stories, right?" @charlotte-harrington
Kenzo sat at the bar more intrigued in a couple not too far away from where he was thna his own drink. The bar was a little on the slower side and the 'couple' appeared to be on a first date, but the guy was talking nonstop. There wasn't any space for his date to even elaborate on a thought. Kenzo chuckled lightly, bringing the beer up to his lips. "You'd think from the look on her face, he'd get the hint to shut the fuck up." the man shook his head slightly.
"It's been going on for half an hour already," Olivia wasn't drunk enough for this, at all. Her rum and coke was going down smoothly but not near fast enough to overhear this stupid man that wouldn't shut up. "I'm getting secondhand embarrassment from it." Her eyes went to the girl, who looked like she was zoned out by now. "She did that polite fake laugh thing like, twelve times in the first then minutes and now it's like she's blinking in morse code....or maybe she's plotting his murder?" @fridaynightmuses
An amber eyebrow rose as her sister spoke. "Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that. We could've rescheduled if that would have been easier." she began to explain reassuringly, yet her hands were still plating the dinner. Charlotte had been looking forward to having a family dinner, including Lola, as to assure them she was on their side. That they would always be welcome in both her home and her arms. She couldn't imagine the stress of being back under her parents' watchful eyes after getting a taste of freedom, especially when the relationship was as strained as theirs and Olivia's was. All she ever wanted to do was help.
Charlotte gave her younger sister a typical eldest sibling glare, though this one filled with playfulness, as she laughed at her bread attempt. "Keep laughing and I'll make sure I'm baking your cake this year." she teased. Though as both Olivia's voice and face faltered, she quickly made her way over to her, serving utensils clattering to the counter. "Oh, my Livvybird." the blonde cooed, pulling her sister into a motherly hug.
She pulled away slightly, studying her sister's face for any unsaid words. "What's going on? Is there anything I can help with?" her words flew out, wanting to play Ms. Fix-It. "Did you still want to eat? Or do you just want to go sit and talk? Or we don't even have to talk! We can watch romcoms all night and I can DoorDash some ice cream."
Olivia was immensely grateful for her sister, sometimes she felt like her only support. The pair had always been close, but she was just glad now being in the same town as each other they were growing closer yet again. "No I still wanted to come, I missed you." The pair barely spent the day apart and they texted or spoke on the phone if they didn't see each other. Lately it had been the latter, so she wasn't going to reschedule.
A laugh cracks through her saddened features as she mentioned baking her a cake, she was quick to shake her head. "You'll forget by next May," she teased, rolling her eyes. Cooking wasn't something either of them picked up. "Let's still eat, I didn't get a break at work today so I'm starving."
She hugged her sister back tightly, a small huff leaving her lips. Mainly because Olivia didn't know what to do with her feelings. "I think I'm still overthinking being back here, that's all." It had been three years and Olivia's brain was still running wild about what her parents had to say. "The baby stuff too...I'm freaking the fuck out." She let out a nervous laugh. "Can we just sit on the couch and chill? Do you have wine? Please, please tell me you've got wine!" @charlotte-harrington
April was currently finishing out a few sketches and placed her sketchbook down and smiled. "Maybe." She said with a slight smile on her face. "I was on a date...figured to give the poor sucker a chance and it went really well."
Olivia slumped back into her seat slightly, finishing off her mouthful of pizza. "Really well?" She asked, wiggling her eyebrows. It wasn't that Olivia's life was boring, it certainly wasn't but she was married, happily, so she liked to encourage April's feral behavior. "Did you sleep with him?" @aprilrcse
Lola loved it when Live got home, Lola always made it home before Liv and it gave Lola time to relax before they got all hyped up and excited about Liv being home. Liv really had been the key in all of this pain Lola had been dealing with since learning the bad news. Calling Liv wife still felt unreal even after being married for just over a year now.
“Honestly, I don’t know who else I could ever rebuild this well with.” They said, opening up their blanket to scoop Liv into with them, nuzzling their face against her cheek. They loved these moments of domestic bliss with Liv. Lola returned the kiss, their lips curling up at the edges “Livvy, you are what makes me happy, for all I care we could be living under a bridge, and your father might be a lot, but I’d endure hell to be happy with you. I’m here, I’m settled, I’m just happy to be here with you.” @olivahw
Olivia melted as her wife pulled her in, burying herself in the warmth of the blanket. It was no where near cold, but the pair always liked to be cozy. She wrapped her arms around them tightly. "I just wanted to make sure," Olivia, really needed the reassurance herself. Lately she was a ball of anxiety. Her father was awful but her mom was worse.
"Charlie wants us to have dinner with her soon." The blonde leaned up to press a small kiss to her wife's cheek, then to their mouth. Charlie, thankfully was an angel compared to her parents (or most people). "Would that be okay with you? My parents won't be there, she wouldn't do that to us." @lolahw
“Just being honest! Would I ever lie to you? Even if it’s about gross shit?” He asked, very genuinely curious, he knew she’d be fine or he would have gone into far worse detail than he did. He himself was curious as to why there hadn’t been any attempt to pursue a divorce for his daughter, perhaps there was something more that was under the surface in that regard. “Shit, he’s got us all looking at him. But… Getting his attention is easy…” He said, waving at the security camera. “That’s why you and Lola will be together forever, because he’s so ready to push you apart.” @olivahw
"No, I don't think you'd lie, not to me anyway." Eli surely knew if he were to lie to her she'd have his nuts on a platter. Though, perhaps in this instance she wished she had because the idea still made her grimace. Her gaze flickered towards the CCTV footage, her dad was cunning but really her mom was the brain behind it. It was a wonder the Harrington sisters turned out well. "Eh, it's my mom who's the one to really worry about. Dad's gotta be on his best behavior, that's why nobody's medaled enough for divorce." She looked up at him, laughing. "I hope so though, I'm glad you have hope in us." @elimatherss
“When I die can you make sure they serve this tiramisu at my funeral?” It was to die for and Olivia’s favorite from The Green Tomato. She loved the pasta too but tended to end up here for dessert when she was working late or felt like a sweet treat. “It’s better than that one we had in Italy.”
“Did I see you with a guy the other night?” Olivia teased the brunette as she walked into the staff room. Liv had ordered pizza for the team so she was sitting back scarfing it as usual. Once a week she’d get takeout for her employees to enjoy for lunch. She was always the one to get the gossip too. “At the steakhouse? I was begging Eli for some fucking fries and I thought I saw you there.”
