one second charlie was looking at oliver’s fingers and the next that same hand was grabbing her own and pulling her out of the stage door. she let out a loud laugh as the two sprinted down and across the street , her hand staying interlocked with his thought the entirety of their ( very short ) journey. she knew she could’ve let go of his hand before they got into the restaurant , but to be completely honest she didn’t want to - - call her cheesy but she liked the way their hands fit into one another , it was a perfect match. “i don’t know about you , but i’m getting a burger and a milkshake , i’ll probably regret it later but god nothing sounds better than a strawberry shake right now … my mouth is watering just thinking about it” she teased , leaning her head on oliver’s arm as the two of them stared up at the menu. after the two had both ordered and gotten their food , charlie finally released her grip on his hand so she could carry her tray over to the nearest free table and sit down on the seat across from him. “dude look over there i think i see kellin quinn” a little smirk grew across her face while she lied straight through her teeth, not-so-sneakily creeping her hand over to his tray to steal a couple of fries while his attention turned away.
Oliver himself tried not to think too deep into the fact that she hadn’t let his hand go, and he was enjoying it maybe a little too much. It felt to him like a lock and key, and somehow his rough hands felt nice intertwined with her soft ones. “Well, I don’t know about you but I am getting a burger, milkshake, and fries.” Oliver gave her a playful wink and after the two had ordered and gotten their food he followed beside her towards a free table. Now, Oliver knew Charlie had to be lying, obviously, but he couldn’t help himself - he had to make sure. When Ollie turned his head back and noticed Charlie munching on some of his fries he gave her a small frown. “Lying and stealing from me, here I was thinking we were best buddies.” He chuckled grabbing his milkshake and beginning to drink from it. “Im to gullible for your jokes, you should know this by now.” Oliver took a bite of his burger and let out a not so subtle sigh of enjoyment, “This is the perfect thing to have after a show, I swear.” Once he swallowed he looked towards Charlie, “And I know I said it earlier, but Charlie you seriously killed it tonite.”

Coco wasn’t interested in people very often, so if she gave people the time of day past a hook up, that meant shit to her. Oliver had made the mistake of not catching onto that which left Coco in immediate shambles. She wasn’t the kind of girl to cry over failed relationships, but she was the kind of girl to nurture grudges in that realm. “No,” she quickly blurted out. Coco wasn’t known for having adult conversations and she wasn’t about to start now. “I don’t talk to losers who think they can just fucking waltz up in here and drink the booze I paid for without an apology,” she was inching closer to the front door of the Alpha Chi Omega house. She didn’t want to explain herself to him, because why should she? If a guy couldn’t read her mind, then he just wasn’t worthy. “I’m sure Delta’s sweaty basement will be good for you. Bye now.”
Oliver followed the girl towards the door, mostly because he could tell she really didn’t want him here, he’d known their very short-term relationship was complicated, but was it seriously this complicated. That was when Oliver’s eyebrow raised at her mention of an apology? Apologize? Oliver stopped by the door, looking down at Coco as she spoke. “Apologize? Coco, I am one billion percent sure you stopped talking to me? What do you want me to apologize for?” Now, Oliver at the time had been talking to a couple of girls, but he had no idea that was why their situationship ended. He’d believed that was what dating around was? It didn’t mean he didn’t have his eyes set on Coco, at the time he’d wanted to make sure she liked him as much as he did. Oliver scoffed at her final comment, rolling his eyes, “This is so dumb, you know that right?”
colettecortez:
Coco just couldn’t believe her eyes. Her precious jewels were being tainted by having to even look in Oliver’s direction. She couldn’t stand him. At one point, she was fully interested in only him but after finding out she wasn’t the only girl on his radar? She was livid and it was clear those feelings hadn’t gone away, even with time. It was like a slap in the face to see him standing in the house she lived in, drinking the alcohol she had chipped in money for. It was like a stab to the chest and she’d let all of Evergreen know it. “A public party that I put together,” she sneered. The party had been a spontaneous one and Coco, nor anyone else, thought to put together a blacklist thus making the party accessible to nearly everyone and anyone. So much for an exclusive party. “You’re sure as shit right I’m gonna throw you out. I’m not staying here if you are,” she quickly pointed out and Coco was ready to defend her turf. “Get out,” oh to be a forlorn woman. “Get out, get out, get out!” She was basically screaming at this point, already pushing on Oliver’s back to try and get him to budge.
The situation with Coco was complicated, and to be quite honest Oliver hadn’t ever figured out why Coco had mysteriously ghosted and decided she hated his guts after the two had hooked up. He wasn’t gonna lie and say it didn’t hurt his feelings, especially because he’d been so into her - but he was clueless to it all. “Whoa whoa whoa!” Oliver put his hands up, nearly spilling the contents of his drink and watching as Coco attempted to shove him. The buzz he had was no longer enough to block out the many eyes that were turned on him as Coco continued to scream. “Coco, what the hell??” Oliver took a step back from her, deciding maybe it was no longer the time to joke. “Jesus christ, can you talk to me like an actual adult?” At this point, if she wanted him to leave he’d do it just to make her feel more comfortable in her own place, but he really hadn’t known this was a party her sorority was throwing and maybe if she asked him without causing a whole scene, even if it was too late.
ollieblair:
“your ‘work in progress’ stage of music sounds that good? if that’s the case then i have no doubt you’ll be some kind of rock star some day” there was a hint of teasing , but there was more sincerity in her tone than anything. “i’ll text him to see if he’s there - - but while we wait you need to tell me about how things have been going with that band you’ve been opening for? you know…I don’t know if yvie knows this, but i’m pretty sure that’s her sister you’ve been playing with?” ollie had of course been to a few of ( really a lot of ) oliver’s shows and at this point she was beginning to think that either it was charlie or maybe that there was some long lost monet twin roaming around the streets of San Fran - - though the first option was obviously much more plausible. “but seriously how’s it been? people must really like you guys because i genuinely don’t think i’ve ever seen that many people there to watch an opener in my life - -it’s kinda funny seeing you go from playing air guitar with thise sticks we’d find in the park to now literally being in a spotlight … you should be really proud of yourself oli” a sweet smile began to spread across her lips as she got up , walking over to where she kept the dog’s harnesses so she could get them ready to start walking over to the restaurant.
Oliver scrunched his nose at Ollie’s sweet words, he appreciated having her support and he wasn’t one to turn down a compliment. “I think they’re named Snake Eyes and they’re really good.” A chuckle came from Oliver and he gave a small nod, “Yeah, Charlotte asked me to join her set a little while ago, she’s amazing at what she does truly, that’s why I said yes. She deserves the credit for sure, I just accompany her on stage.” Oliver had the utmost respect for Charlie and her talent, and it made him happy to see how many people showed up to see Romans band and Charlie as the opener. They were a talented bunch in his eyes. “It’s definitely all I’ve ever wanted, and I am honestly really proud, I’m working pretty hard out here.” Ollie teased, standing up and watching as Ollie began to situate the dogs. Oliver was really happy at the moment, not only was he making his dad proud for attending school, but he was also living the performer’s dream he’d always wanted, and somehow he was comfortably juggling them both. “Now, what do you usually get to eat from this place Ollie?”

𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐍: Weekend baby!
𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄: Alpha Chi Omega House.
If there was one fact Coco could state for certain it was that the Alpha Chi Omega girls knew how to party. She had first started her night off playing bartender for a bit, but she quickly grew tired of that. Coco was the kind of girl who needed to be front and center, she vied for attention to be on her, whether it was for a good reason or not, and more often than not it was for the latter. Now a few shots deep, Coco had already made her way to the makeshift dance floor. Now that was a way to get attention, but she had barely started dancing when she spotted an all too familiar face. “Nuh uh, hell to the no,” she said to herself, stomping over in Oliver’s direction. If there was one person who wasn’t welcome to a party that had her sorority’s name attached to it, it was Oliver Cyprus. “Get the fuck out of here, dude!” She yelled out, not above causing a scene. Truthfully, Coco cared more about berating and embarrassing people than actually throwing them out. “Didn’t you get the memo? No uggos allowed!”
When Ollie’s roommate suggested the two attend Alpha Chi Omega’s party, there was no way he was saying no. It was the weekend, and all Oliver wanted to do was let loose and enjoy it. Once they’d arrived, the two sort of separated, Oliver went and took a couple shots and then grabbed himself a drink and found his way towards a group of guys he knew he could converse with. After a minute, Oliver nearly jumped at the sound of someone yelling, and boy was he surprised when he turned and noticed Coco storming towards him. This was definitely awkward. Oliver looked towards the girl, raising his eyebrow and chuckling. He’d known she was in a sorority, but the pair hadn’t talked long enough for him to ask which one. “Awe, Coco, I didn’t expect to see you here.” Oliver took a drink from his cup, thanking the alcohol for not letting him feel embarrassed about the scene she was causing. “I’m pretty sure this is a public party, babe. Are you gonna throw me out?”
calliopexfletcher:
“It’s nice to meet you too, Oliver!” She smiled. Before she was going to answer his question, she heard his joking comment. “Well, I promise you definitely don’t have to follow behind me. There’s plenty of space next to me.” Callie assured him, inviting him to join her. “There’s all sorts. It’s my favourite place to go when I don’t know what I want since it’s, like, an international load of foods.”
Oliver was very thankful for the girls kind invitation, she seemed like good company and he was excited to have someone to join him for some food. “Thank you,” he responded, beginning to walk besides Calli as the two began to make their way towards the food trucks. “That’s a good idea because I feel like I never know what I really wanna eat,” Ollie pouted, now trying to imagine what it was that he might be craving. “When I’d left the house, pizza or mexican sounded good, but now that you’re saying theres loads of food I am excited to explore my options.” He chuckled, “Anything you’re craving?”

“oli!! you were amazing out there” charlie doesn’t hesitate to to wrap her arms around him in a (somewhat sweaty) hug. oliver had been supporting charlie with her opening set for snake eyes for as long as she could remember , yet somehow each time she went on stage with him it felt like they sounded even better than the last. “you really are the best guitarist ever .. kinda amazes me how your fingers haven’t fallen off yet” she laughs , pulling away from him in favor of grabbing a water bottle from the table off the to the side of the stage exit. “we’ve got like an hour and some change until the band finishes their set , and i say we run across the street to that in n out and grab something to eat , i’m fucking starving” she said with a smirk , somewhat of a mischievous look in her eye as she switched her gaze between him and the door behind him.
Oliver followed behind Charlie with a large smile on his face, tonight had been absolutely incredible, and for some reason he felt like this night in particular had been their best in a while. Oliver blushed at her compliment, and he hoped it was too dark for the girl to see. His arms wrapped around her, ignoring for a moment how sweaty he was. “Me? Charlie let’s talk about you.” Oliver had been honored when Charlotte had first asked him to support her, he loved her music and energy so to share the stage with her was an amazing experience. “To be honest, sometimes I wonder the same thing.” He looked down at his fingers, wiggling them a bit. Olivers eyebrow raised at her idea, they had some time, and he too was starving. “Yes, let’s do it.” Before Charlie could even respond, Oliver grabbed her hand and quickly bolted out the door. Obviously they had some time, there was no need to rush but he wanted to sit and enjoy his food if the two could.

‘ you gotta help me then ! garlic knots are the most intricate, so specific, the most precise thing in the entire world. you could either do so so so well or fuck them up entirely. ’, lorraine began to go on a rant tangent, speaking out to the air. the brunette widened her eyes and let out a deep breath. ‘ i’m so glad you said that because i was literally losing by breath. sometimes i forget the face we’re in san fran. these hills are bad business. but hey… we made it ! ’, lori began to kick off her shoes before the door even open and picked them up to walk inside once it was. ‘ alright alright alright. ’, she began, putting on her best attempt in serious voice. lorraine wrapped her hair in a messy bun and pulled out the dough from the fridge. ‘ are you ready to see some magic. ’, her eyes were full of excitement as she leaned forward against the counter.
Walking back into their place felt like walking through a portal of comfortableness. Oliver was tired, hungry, and definitely drunk, so being back at home was like a dream. “Obviously, I’ll do anything I can to help. Especially for garlic knots.” Not that he believed he’d be any help to his roomie, while he knew how to cook some meals, he had no idea how Lorraine practiced the magic she did. Oliver walked towards the counter, leaning forward on it from the other side. “I am ready to watch, learn, and then devour.” It was the best benefit to having Lorraine as his roommate, she made the most incredible treats. “I can’t promise I won’t eat them all this time..”

rest and recovery : that was the theme ollie had been following for the past few days. life had been moving so fast lately , maybe a little too fast - - with school picking up it’s pace and the gallery seeing more patrons ahead of the spring season , ollie couldn’t even remember the last time she had just allowed herself to sit and listen to herself think. she had invited oliver over to keep her company during her de-stressing , partly because she just missed him and partly because she always enjoyed the sound of him softly playing his guitar in the background while she was painting. “does this flower look a little lopsided to you ?” she finally said , lifting her paintbrush from the canvas she had been focused on for the last hour or so , her head tilting a little bit to view it from a different perspective. “whatever , if anyone notices i’ll just say its some kind of abstract social commentary or something” she laughed , setting the paint brush down and swiveling her chair around to face oli. “what are you playing? it sounds beautiful as always” she sighed , giving him a soft floor before crossing the room so she could sit next to him. “are you hungry now? I’m kinda craving mexican - - maybe if alix is on shift i can get him to sneak us some for free if that sounds good?”
Oliver had been super excited to get an invite from Ollie to come just chill, her company had always been something he’d enjoyed his entire childhood. The two just got along so well, and he liked having her here with him to calm his nerves when he felt anxious or just needed someone who knew him close to him. Oliver had been sitting on the couch, strumming his guitar and watching her do her thing. He turned his head as well, he’d been watching her paint and it didn’t seem lopsided to him, “Uhhhh... I don’t see it.” Oliver turned his head again before chuckling at her response. “The lopsided flower represents the wilting energy of the American people.” Oliver rolled his eyes playfully at his own attempt of sounding like he knew what he was talking about. “What am I playing?” He asked, looking down at the strings. “Thank you, thank you. It’s just a little tune I’ve been trying to work on.” He shrugged his shoulders, “Work in progress.” Oliver’s eyes lit up at the mention of food, he couldn’t help it, this always happened. “Is that even a question? Mexican sounds incredible.” Oliver wasn’t about to turn down the possibility of free food.
newrvmantic:
the two were walking side by side for majority of the time, but somehow someway lorraine fell a few steps behind. that somehow someway was the fact that she just had to tip toe along the cracks of the sideway, turning every few seconds in some abstract walk. ‘ hm ? ’, her concentration on the floor broke when oliver asked a question. ‘ no yeah… completely sober. don’t know how you ended up this way. ’, the brunette completely lied with a small laugh, quitting her sidewalk game to quickly skip over to the other. ‘ i think i have left over chipotle… cinnamon rolls ! and i think i have some dough leftover. oh oh oh ! what if i make garlic knots ?! ’, the girl began to spit out ideas that seem a bit too far fetched.
Olivers eyes widened at her mention of cinnamon rolls, but the idea of garlic knots was enough to make his mouth start watering. “Please, you can’t just mention garlic knots and then not make any.” Maybe cooking wasn’t the best idea at this moment, but he wasn’t thinking clearly. His steps were still a bit wonky, and though his vision was just the tiniest bit blurry he could tell they were close to their place. “L-Listen, I know it was the safest thing to do, you know walking and what not.” He hiccuped, moving his hands as he spoke, since Ollie was pretty vocal with his hands. “But that walk was too long, right?” Oliver pushed his hair out of his face, he didn’t plan to get this drunk and that’s probably why the walk was so difficult. As the two approached, Oliver dug his hands deep into his pockets before pulling his keys out and doing his best to open the door without screwing up.

“Two...three...four...” Oliver was focused, attempting to count every step he took in order to try to sober himself up at least a little bit. Thankfully, he was walking beside his roomie, Lorraine, so he wasn’t alone. “Okay, maybe I drank just a littleeee too much. What about you?” Ollie turned towards the girl, laughing a bit. He was glad the two had decided to walk to the party so they could walk back, but all he could think about was the couch the two had in the living room, in moments like this it was way more comfortable than his bed. He also couldn’t wait to see Penny, his dog, some cuddles from the pup were necessary at this moment. “I can’t wait to get home and eat something. Do we still have any leftover treats you’ve made this past week or did we eat them all...” He pouted, placing a hand on his stomach. Ollie was rambling, but he couldn’t help it, it was what happened when he was drunk.
calliopexfletcher:
“Calliope, but feel free to call me Callie. Everyone usually does.” Callie introduced herself in return with a smile. “I think the pole might have hurt a lot more than I would so I think it’s probably a good thing you ran in to me instead.” She teased. “Oh me too! I was going to head to the food trucks. I can’t decide what I want to eat so I figured if I saw something I might decide.”
Oliver chuckled in return, shrugging his shoulders. “Well, it’s nice to meet you Callie.” His eyes lit up when she mentioned she was headed to some food trucks. Now, Oliver wasn’t the kind of guy who wanted to insert himself in anybody’s plans, especially not someone he had just met three seconds ago, but his stomach couldn’t help but growl at the idea of this. “That sounds incredible.” He replied, biting down on his lip. “Is there anything good there? Cause if there is I might have to follow behind you.” Oliver teased.

Oliver’s ideal date could be absolutely anything. Ranging from a live show, to a museum, to a picnic, he always aims to plan the date around what his partner is into as well. He’s always been more of a planner, and always aims to make his date happy because what’s the point of a date if the other isn’t feeling it? If he had to choose his ideal date though, it would be a nice day/night in and a delicious home cooked meal, hopefully cooked by the pair. Throw in some drinks and a late night walk around the city and it’d be everything Ollie could dream of.

There’s always been something about the softness or roughness of another’s hand entangled in his that makes his heart go crazy. Holding someone’s hand makes Oliver feel connected to the person, adding on the feeling of holding someone close to him in some way. When Oliver has the chance he likes to rub the pad of his thumb across the others hand, it is soothing to him.

There is nothing Oliver loves more than someone who shows genuine interest in what he is into. When he plays his music for someone or when he plays the guitar for someone he is sharing something he loves deeply, and when someone is as into it as him it makes him feel like the happiest guy around.

When it comes to listening to music, yeah there’s always your phone, but what about an aesthetically pleasing alternative? Collecting vinyl is just another thing Ollie loves. The sound of the grooves and flipping the vinyl over when the side is done, it’s a process but it is one he doesn’t complain about. Although he couldn’t bring his entire collection over when he came to Evergreen, he still has a hefty collection, he regularly frequents the local record store when new albums come out because he just needs that new disk. He is more of a colored pressing fan over standard black, so he likes to make sure he gets the vinyls he prefers.
alexfitzgerald:
“i guess so.” alex said simply, giving the other a small smile as he looked at oliver, nodding his head slowly. he knew that he shouldn’t have been on his phone while he was walking, but the damage had been done either way and it wasn’t like it was that big of a deal, at least that’s what he thought. “yes, it… it survived, you don’t need to worry about it, really.” he said with a small nod of his head.
“there’s no need to apologize, accidents happen all the time. don’t worry about it.” alex said with a nod, not wanting to have a conflict with the other, even if it seemed that he wasn’t going make a mess out of it, he was genuinely sorry about it. it made alex smile, before he was shaking his head at him. “my phone is fine, don’t worry.” he said, before showing him his phone - yes, the screen was cracked, but it probably was before. “just a few cracks, but you would be surprised… if you knew how much this happens.” he said, smiling - he wasn’t that clumsy, but sometimes he just dropped his phone, maybe more than often.
Oliver nodded in return, thankful that the guy in front of him wasn’t as upset as he may have been. His phone was one of his most prized possessions, and yeah he could probably just get a new one but he knew not everyone had that luxury. Oliver liked the guys soft forgiving attitude, it was something he didn’t see quite often, but that was probably based on who he surrounded himself with. “It happens to the best of us,” Oliver replied, chuckling. “I am glad you’re alright though, gotta be honest, if it had been my phone I may have freaked out a bit.” Oliver wasn’t afraid to admit that he was a bit dramatic at times, it was just how he was. “I’m Oliver by the way.” Oliver gave the guy a grin, raising and dropping his shoulders.
