“Don’t look now, they’re to your left and she looks rather angry.” Connor pulled Olivia closer to him with a smirk. “My love.”
Olivia glanced quickly over her shoulder before draping an arm around Connor’s neck and whispering in his ear. “She looks furious. Bad breakup?”
So, you must have plans for the summer. What will you be doing?
I have a pretty packed schedule. I’m leaving for France in a few weeks actually. And what will you be doing?
“Hey, can you do me a favor and hold my hand – or kiss me? My ex is over there and I don’t feel like dealing with them today.”
“Well, you certainly came to the right girl, I am known for putting on e great show. Which one is your ex?”
So what’s the 411?
Olivia was slightly dissappointed when she found out that she wasn’t a part of this years prom court, but it’s only motivated her to make sure that she wins prom queen next year. The blonde babe attended prom with her best friend Lenox, breaking the hearts of a few other boys that had wanted to take her. She didn’t spend nearly as much time with her date as she would’ve liked, but Olivia looks forward to dedicating more time to Lenox over the summer. The after party that Liv hosted with Josiah turned out to be quite a success, although she was so busy trying to be a good hostess that she was unable to grab hold of some of her friends like Izzy, Walcott and Nola. However she did manage to squeeze in a dance or two with Stella, aka prom queen and showed off the brunette beauty to the rest of the party. Olivia tried to hide her dissappointment when she didn’t spot her longtime friend and lover Oliver at her after party. She made a mental note to send him a text in the near future, inviting him over so they could catch up.
@yungoliver: @literallyliv that or i can lay around in my room all day moping around
@literallyliv: @yungoliver bc that's always super helpful
Truthfully he was unsettled, the noise in his head could have been comparable to a thunderstorm, even over the inconsistent music his fingers thrummed. He was fortunate that he spotted Olivia in one of the instances that he looked over his shoulder, though it took a literal beat or two for him to pull an earbud from his ear and shift his things just enough for her. Instantly his features transformed, a veritable mask covering the worry and concentration that had tinged the same visage a moment before, to the usual warm and welcoming smile that clad Isaiah Butler’s features. “Hey there.” It had been an eternity since he had seen Liv, by no fault but his own. “I’m way more surprised to be here, honestly.”
Olivia made her self comfortable in her chair by leaning back and crossing her arms across her chest. A laugh fell from her mouth and she smiled warmly at Izzy. It had been a while since she’d last seen him, or spoken to him for that matter and she’d missed him grately. Of course, her pride and lack of external emotion stopped her from expressing that although she wish she could. “So what brings you here? You seemed to be completely immersed in something before.”
@yungoliver: @literallyliv i'm so out of it dude
@literallyliv: @yungoliver you sound like you need a pick-me-up babe
@yungoliver: post SAT blues
@literallyliv: i've still got the school blues tbh
“I can’t wait to get the fuck out of here,” Luca said, his words feigning excitement rather than the relief he really felt. “Summer couldn’t have gotten here soon enough.”
“Too bad we have to come back in the fall, yeah?”
Fingers absently traced along the keys of the launchpad to his left, attention fully on the notebook that he was actively jotting down notes in. Izzy had his earbuds in, his shoulders wracked with concentration and every ounce of his being poured into the hobby that peeled his mind away from reality. Since the return of his visit with his mother … it felt like he needed it. Thankfully the library was quiet, as it was meant to be, and only every so often would he turn away from his notes to test out the sounds he crafted in his book. The only break in his work was the occasional peering over his shoulder, as if he were expecting company but … he knew that his presence in the library was quiet as a whisper.
It was a rare specialty to find Olivia Reed walking into the Westwood library. She did most of her studying at home and hardly ever found valuable use for the book clad room, aside from the occasional socializing that was done in there. The blonde was unaccustomed to the silence that envoloped the library and much prefered to be outside on the lawns or in the busy cafeteria where she could be with her peers. Several heads turned when Olivia glided through the bookshelves and she matched their wide eyed stares with an icy glare. She let out a inner sigh of releif when she spotted a familiar figure sitting at an otherwise unoccupied table. “I don’t know if I’m more surprised that I’m here, or that you are.” Olivia said with a smirk as she sat down across from Izzy.
Going from one party to another should’ve made Stella sleepy in the slightest, but really, she had more than enough energy to do herself in. And the plastic crown tucked into her curls?— Just a physical reminder of the excitement that had come to an end just an hour or so before. Taking advantage of the already open door, she fell into the motions of the crowd with ease. If the shriek of the other girl had unsettled the brunette, she didn’t let it show; instead she giggled, wrapped her arms around the familiar frame happily. “I wouldn’t have missed a party of yours for the world, babe. How’s my favorite lil’ hostess holdin’ up? The crowd’s been good to you?”
A wide, vodka induced smile spread across Olivia’s face as she pulled away from Stella and took in her stunning appearance. “You really do make the best prom queen, y’know. I might have actually cried if you hadn’t won.” Letting her arm fall loosely into Stella’s, the blonde led her friend into the heart of the party, showing her off to the various guests that adorned the expansive room. “I can hold my own.” Olivia said with a smirk and a shrug. “I know how to keep my party people in line.”
Olivia had been at Josiah’s house since prom ended, setting up for the after party. She’d been so busy trying to be a good hostess that she hadn’t gotten the chance to hangout with most of her friends. The moment the blonde spotted Stella walking into the party she let out a high pitched squeal and screamed, “Guys, my best friend is here!” Olivia ran over to the brunette and embraced her in a warm hug, surprising herself with this sudden and open show of affection. “I’m so happy you made it Stel, honestly.”
This is drink number, like, five? Six? I don’t even know at this point.
Who’s counting anyways. Here, I’ll go get you drink number seven!
This was really poor decision making, I should go..
Aw don’t go yet! You just got here... I think.
