Olivia shrugged, “Just tell them I needed your help with something.”

“You have exactly ten minutes to give me an excuse to not go to this meeting and you will be my new favorite person.”
Olivia shrugged, “Just tell them I needed your help with something.”
Olivia was pretty sure her phone hadn’t stopped ringing all day and she was one minute away from throwing it against the wall. She heard a knock on her door and it slowly open, without even looking up she spoke up. “If you are coming in here to try and get me to approve your travel papers for the Holidays this close to Christmas, you can get out. I am very sympathetic to all of the difficulties with traveling now since the Minister placed restrictions. But this is quite literally- not. my. job.”
frvnscos:
“Yeah. Little bit. Besides, the idea of me being a single parent is enough to fuel my will to let him live most of the time,” he smirked, reaching forward to take the file from her. “I can do that. Head Auror’s out so nothing’s really happening over there. But my replacements, huh? That’s lovingly put,” he teased, looking at her. “They that bad?”
She rolled her eyes. “I hate training people.” Olivia put simply. “Plus some have been here for months now and still get lost going to the bathroom. There’s only one or two who don’t make me want to pluck my eyes out.” The woman moved to put a few of her papers into her completed pile. “I have to go on a trip to France in a few weeks and I can’t wait for the break.”
frvnscos:
“Sadly no.” Gabe looked up at her remark and snorted, holding a hand up in defense. “It’s fine. I want to murder my current boss on a daily basis. Unfortunately I’m married to him.” He smirked and nodded at the file. “You want me to help with anything? We’re not really doing anything over there anyway.”
Olivia chuckled, “Yeah that would probably be a bit harder to cover up.” She sat back for a moment and took a look at a few things. “I think a few of these can actually go to your replacements, if you wouldn’t mind taking a quick look.” The woman shuffled a few files around before tapping on one. “This one should have most of them I believe.”
frvnscos:
“Not today. I’m off my game, I guess.” Gabe held up the file he was holding and walked over to hand it to her. “I hate to give you even more paperwork, because it looks like the last head left you a mess, but that made it’s way onto my desk in the auror department. I think it should have come here.”
Olivia groaned. “Are you kidding me?” She grabbed the file from him, flipping through it quickly before putting it on top of one of the piles she had. “I am going to murder my old boss.” She said for a moment before looking up at hi. “Pretend like you heard nothing.”
“Unless you’ve started a war with another country, please get out of my office.” She said, not even bothering to look up from her paperwork. Olivia had wanted this position because it was supposed to be pretty high up but with little-to-no work. Apparently the last person in the position just didn’t do their job because she had stacks of papers on her desk constantly.
