Pietro,, but PRETTY MERMAID! Theyre a rainbow parrotfish, and about 3 feet 10 inches tall in their regular mermaid form!!

Long post ahead!

I looked up what a rainbow parrotfish looked like and its so cute, and the blue is perfect for pietro! :D

 But THEN I started thinking about what other sea creatures reminded me of Pietro! (hope you don't mind me rambling skdkabsks)

I was thinking of a sea slug maybe? Is it even possible for a mermaid to be based on a sea slug? :0 

Or maybe one of those frilly jellyfish! (Its kinda funny though bc im terrified of jellyfish) And THEN I thought “oh god what about the most horrifyingly big jellyfish ever, the stygiomedusa gigantea” but it didn’t fit with their aesthetic at all so yeah

Idea: wondersonas and misters, but as merfolk!!!!! Marina has a bettafish tail or mandrinfish tail or just something colourful but i feel like itd be really big and fancy too!! Aaaah and i can imagine Mel as a pretty big one like a shark or whale bc shes so tall!!!

aaa I think Mel would be like... a spotted dogfish shark or maybe like a swell shark??? definitely one of the spotted ones!! or maybe a whale shark cuz shes Giant Woman™

also Pietro would be like... a tropical fish like a neontail (? is that what theyre called?) and Apateon would be a huge black eel or a thrasher shark! Ryder would be a little fish like a red snapper.

And yknow what marina is although im really leaning towards betta!! Theyre so pretty!! And their tail fins are so big and pretty!! Aaaaaaaahhhh i just really like this idea
