not sure if you're still taking requests, but I love your writing!!
if you are, maybe there could be one written from his time at university, where he had to play student for a little bit going by Ryuga? think group project that he's not putting too much work into other than finding resources, and perhaps he slowly gets jealous of the other team member for having so much of your attention that he feels the only practical move is a date! and a little more... Sorry I've been slow with requests! And thank you for this one (^.^) !!

L put the black, silky tie around his pale neck and gazed into the mirror, his eyebags more evident than ever. He didn't want to admit that he didn't look like the typical highschool student, yet, he didn't give up on his self titled master plan.
Both him and matsuda were dressed as normal students, although they were only putting on a show for one reason. They needed to investigate the schools too, not just the countless workspaces of Japan. Lawliet didn't care that the shirt he wore was slightly seethrough, which made Matsuda giggle quietly.
The cobblestone under their feet was loud as they walked, the clinking sound of their shoes nearly unbearable.
"How do they put up with all this noise?" L muttered, a complaining mumble that was only heard by Matsuda who agreed strongly. They watched the other students carefully, observing how they acted and what they spoke about.
Matsuda threw an occasional smile towards random girls dressed in striped blue skirts. L didn't smile, yet he attempted to look casual which didn't turn out too well. His unbrushed, jet black hair covered almost half his face, leaving him looking uncomfortably unready for a school day.
They passed by groups of teenagers, classrooms and corridors before they finally reached their destined room. Without hestitation, Matsuda grabbed the doorhandle in a swift motion.
"Hello! I'm Kotatsu and this is Ryuga!" He exclaimed, before meeting the silent gazes of the concentrated students. Everyone looked stone cold, even nervous by the sudden interruption. The teacher greeted the two men and assigned them seats, before returning to their paperwork.
L analyzed the classroom, sitting down beside you, a student who happened to go to the exact same class he was asigned to spy on. Your eyes didn't gaze over to him, but instead over to the teacher for just a moment before you continued writing your assignment.
After an hour of silence and observation had passed, the bell rung. Lawliet almost flung up, his light body nearly losing balance as he barged over to Matsudas desk. He didn't say a word and he did in fact not even look upset. He grabbed Matsuda by his hand, forcing him out of the classroom.
As they stood outside, L hissed your name. It was undeniable, the fact the name was yours. He seemed to be speaking about you and you yearned to hear all of it. You walked beside them, your pace slow and steady as if you tried to act nonchalant. Lawliet noticed you right away, his hisses turning into pure silence at the sight of you.

The next assigned class was english. The teacher was an older man, his white hair combed over his obviously balding head. He quietly assigned everyone a group to work with, since there apparebtly was a group project going on. Luckily, the two detectives were able to work together. Something even more lucky was the fact that they got into your group.
The two men sat down carefully as the classroom got thick with conversation. Matsuda had a slightly nervous look on his face, gazing over at L before looking straight at you. His brown hair was combed back, making him look just about your age. You were completely fooled, at least for now.
"Hey! I'm Kotatsu." Matsuda lied, reaching forward to shake your hand. You grabbed his hand, smiling politely, your glossed lips reflecting in the light from the window. You introduced yourself, before doing the same to Lawliet whose gaze was ice cold.
"I'm Ryuga." He said, his voice a mix between a sharp hiss and an attempt to sound polite. He smiled for a second, his slightly messed up teeth gleaming. You did find him attractive, although that was something you had strictly forbidden in your own head. No love, just studies.
You and Matsuda began speaking right away, your laugh echoing through the classroom. He smiled, you did as well. You found him cute, not paying attention to Ryuga, L, at all. Matsuda teased you for all sorts of things, clearly interested in having your attention.
After about a minute of meaningless schoolwork, Ryuga leaned forward to ask you a question. His tie scraped the table lightly as he spoke quickly, yet clearly. He couldnt contain his jealousy that felt sticky inside of his chest.
"So, what are your interests?" He asked, his voice surprisingly monotone as he attempted to smile once again. Matsuda looked away, his cheeks flaring slightly pink. You didn't know why and you werent sure whether you wanted to know or not.
"Well, I like to draw." You said, cringing at your own dry response. To make up for it, you pulled out a tiny notebook from your bag. You positioned it in Ryugas direction, allowing him to see your work. He scanned it with his eyes and you were sure you could almost mistake him for a spy already, the way his eyes moved quickly over the paper.
"That's rather unrealistic, don't you think? Men in skirts?" He asked, raising his eyebrow ever so slightly as he returned the notebook. Your face turned bright red as you realized you had shown him the wrong page and you stammered an awkward excuse. You wanted to sink through the wooden chair underneath you, or why not the ground beneath as well.
"Anyway..." You continued, noticing Matsudas amused face from the other side of the table. He looked extremely entertained, which made you turn awkwardly to the side. You looked out the window for a second, which L of course took notice of. He seemed strangely interested in you, even more than he was interested in Light at the moment.
"Did you two start today?" You askef awkwardly, shifting in your seat as your far too big skirt slipped further and further down your waist. You cleared your throat, awaiting an answer that you probably weren't interested in. Your gaze darted between the two men, your fingers automatically twirling a strand of your hair as you looked at Ryuga.
"Yeah, we both started today." L said coldly, quickly.
"Hey, is there any way you and I could possibly go out sometime?" He asked, fast forward and as bold as ever. He seemed just a bit too confident, the way he almost leaned over the medium sized table. Matsudas eyes widened, while L's stayed low and kind.
Your eyelids flung open, your voice breaking into a shy giggle. Your cheeks flared pink and so did L's. You didn't know this man, yet, you were actually considering saying yes. You thought about it, before finally deciding to prioritize a boy over your important schoolwork.
You nodded, your black hair glistening in the warm spring sun. You smiled and so did he, looking different than before. More calm, seemingly more interested. Matsuda was smiling widely, looking almost like a proud brother as he sat down next to Lawliet.

A few days after the bold date request, L had as promised taken you out to eat. He had managed to figure out your favorite desert as expected and before you was a chocolatr cake. You ate with great appetite, seemingly more interested in the sweet than in L. The man looked at you with low eyelids, smiling slightly as he watched you eat with such eagerness.
"So, (y/n), how do you like the school?" He asked, completely forgetting the importancy of your classmate Light, the main suspect of the Kira-case. L looked into your eyes, his own brown ones dark yet kind. He seemed to care and whether or not it was just an act was unclear for the moment.
"I like it. It's quite strict, but..." You mumbled, your mouth full of creamy chocolate cake. L couldn't help but chuckle at your way of eating. He had already at his strawberry shortcake which he seemed to order all the time at every chosen place.
You felt L's gaze boaring into you as you finally swallowed, leaving room for words instead of deserts. Suddenly, a heavy veil of awkwardness laid upon the two of you. You chuckled nervously, remembering the fact that you were on a date and L was interested in you.
L felt confused. He wasn't usually this into someone, in fact he had never been in love before. He sealed the thought away before reaching out to grab your hand. It was obvious he had never been on a date before, yet, he seemed in love enough to act just right.
"You're pretty." L said, a simple sentence that still made everything in your stomach flutter. A smile curled up on his lips as well as yours, before his face turned natural again. He was strange, unnerving, even. Although you had began to understand that he was way more than that. A possible lover?
Lawliet had convinced himself not to fall in love during missions. He hadn't even considered it in his freetime. A feeling so confusing, yet so soft made his vision cloudy. You were absolutely breathtaking and it was clear how bad he wanted you. In the sweetest way possible, he placed a kind kiss on your cheek, leaning over the table like a child.
You blushed undeniably, your cheeks flaring red as you felt L's soft lips on your cheek. You looked at him, still leaning over the table wrecklessly before you returned the kiss, now onto his lips. You closed your eyes, and his hand tangled into the side of your hair. His thumb brushed over your cheek before he finally let go, staring at you like he had never done such a thing before.
You had never expected the worlds greatest detective to be so innocent?. . .
