“Is it that obvious?” Liz chuckled for a second. Of course it was, why did she even bother to ask? She could tell that he didn’t mean any harm, so she just laughed. “That and divorce. Also custody battles. Oh photographer.. I should’ve known hence you wanted to take a photo. Really? I am obsessed with true crime and docs. I could spend my all day watching them.”

“Not in a bad way, I assure you. In fact, it’s endearing.” He smiled even brighter when he managed a laugh out of her. “Man, that sounds... Like a lot of paperwork. I don’t think I could ever do that. Hence why I’m a photographer. And yes, really. I spend a lot of time on Netflix watching docs and stuff, so I have spent all day watching them when I don’t have any work to do.”

“That’s a very good point,” he said with a laugh while Angel danced, lifting his camera up and snapping a few photos. “You know, sometimes I wonder if you get tired of the amount of pictures I take of you.”

“I hate to break it to you but yes I am probably gonna be one of those serious type of lawyers. I am a serious person.” With a shrug, Liz admitted it. No wonder people referred her as moment killer. “Not at all. I know, it’s devastating. Only one so far, it’s a kidnapping one.” Liz said, nodding her head. “I am surprised that you are into law as much as I do, are you a law student as well?”

“Yeah, I kind of got that you were on the more serious side of things,” he said, with a more hint of amusement than any sort of insult. He gave a small smile to show no malice in his comment. “So do you get mostly boring petty theft kind of cases? Oh, oh no. I’m just a photographer with a big interest in true crime television and docs.”

“Oh I can achieve her status but I can’t be like her. She’s much more emotional and tend to act irrationally sometimes, I am not like that. Nope, not at all. My life is awfully boring. I know right? People think interns have a saying in cases, but no, we don’t. We just do research, bring coffee and take notes.”

“So then what are you like? Are you one of those take everything completely serious type of lawyers?” he wondered curiously, tilting his head a bit. “So no murders at all? Quite disappointing. Have you gotten any cool cases, though?”

“I don’t think I could be as badass as Annalise but fingers crossed. I like Laurel too, although she became really annoying in the third season. You are right, Laurel is great too but she’s no Annalise. I am also an intern in a law firm but my life is nothing like theirs.”

“You can be anything you set your mind to and you’ve got plenty of time to achieve Annalise status. Wait, are you saying you constantly aren’t involved with the murders of the people around you? I feel like I’ve been lied to. How to get Away with Murder has set unrealistic exceptions of lawyers.”

Smiling brightly and nodding, Oliver lifted his camera up. “Nah, just stand beside your truck. You can smile if you want - or not. Again, all up to you. I’m just trying to capture the man behind this awesome food truck.”

“Great.” Liz nodded her head simply, tucking her hair behind hear ears. “I still have one more year in law school, then there’s bar exam, so we shall see.” With a shrug, Liz chuckled at the comparison. “I wish I was her but no. I am more of a Laurel Castillo.”

With her one word reply, Oliver simply nodded and grinned. “Hey, don’t sell yourself short. Maybe you’re a Laurel on her way to becoming Annalise. Besides, I happen to think Laurel is really great too, so it doesn’t seem like such a bad comparison.”

“My grandma does like to brag that she raised me to be polite and I didn’t want to be rude or come off as that weird guy hiding in the bushes taking pictures of you. You don’t have to pose, though. A smile is perfect in that exact spot you’re in right now. The sun is giving off some great lighting.”

“Sure, man, yeah!” Nate laughed and put on his biggest smile. ”It’s fine. You can tell me the truth? Is it, like, for some porn site or something? I can take my top off if you want?” Nate joked, laughing. Joked? Okay… I really don’t think Nate’d complain if it was really for some porn website.

As soon as the other guy smiled, Oliver lifted his camera and snapped away, capturing a good number of photographs before letting out a laugh at what Nate was saying. “Sorry to disappoint, but my work isn’t prestigious enough for a porn site. So... you can keep your shirt on, but thanks. I admire you enthusiasm.”

“No, no. Sorry. I was only joking. Don’t mean to annoy,” he quickly interjected, lowering his camera because he was definitely not going to get that picture now. “Criminal defense attorney, huh? Well, it’s no Batman, but it’s still very cool. It’s very Annalise Keating of you.”

alice just  dressed  her  normal  outfit  after  a  session  of  photoshoot.  she  glance  at  the  clock  hanging  on  the  wall,  to  see  how  much  minutes   left  she  has  to  do  take  her  daughter  from  one  of  her  activities.  but,  once  she  finished  of  prepare  her  things,  she  went  to  oliver.   ❛ So… I’m  going  now... ❜

Oliver was looking through some of the photos he had just taken, flipping through them on his laptop when he noticed Alice approach him. Removing his glasses and setting them down, he flashed her a smile. “Aw, so soon? Don’t you want to see some of the pictures?”
