Olympus is just one of many towns around the world designed to protect the children of the gods from the dangers of the outside world. This particular town is near the pacific ocean, just on the border of Northern California and Oregon. To the outer world, its nothing but a reserved section of forest, safe from demolition and hunters, but within the protective borders, there’s an entire world of mythical beings that mortals can’t even fathom. The town is home to demigods, mermaids, and nymphs to name a few, and magic is a part of daily life to those that have been residents longer than a few months.

Violetta grew up in a life full of luxury and glamor with her wealthy father. Being his only child Violetta was spoiled and doted upon. Her dad loved her with all his heart and Vi looked up to him. He was running a full-time fashion empire but still dedicated whatever time he could to spend with her. She was his pride and joy, and he was her hero. Growing up Vi was surrounded by clothes and she loved every second of it. She loved the designing, the buying, and the free samples that came along with Fashion Week. She had a weakness for high-quality fabrics and lovely accessories. Her dad would take her with him when he went to choose fabrics and she loved feeling the different textures from the smooth silk to the rough wool blends, and there was nothing that could stop her when she had access to the accessory room. There was nowhere else she felt more in her element than surrounded by beautiful garments.

Violetta always knew that she was a demigod. Her father didn’t think it was something worth hiding from her. In fact, he would tell her that she got all her good looks from the goddess of beauty herself and that if she were to take after him she would look like a toad. Violetta would just giggle and tell him that he was very handsome. In all honesty, Vi didn’t think much of being a child of a goddess. To her, it was just one more thing to add to her book of interesting things about her. Fashion princess has never had a bad hair day, is a daughter of Aphrodite. She had to admit it did come in handy when she wanted something, and Violetta Adeline Martello always got what she wanted. She knew she was gorgeous and she would be stupid not to take advantage of it. Vi’s a massive flirt but only when it served her purpose. She learned quickly that she could get anything she wanted if she smiled at the right people or whispered in the right ears. Manipulation became second nature to her.

However, her love life was a different story. She couldn’t help how people fell head over heels for her but when she finally opened up to them they always ended up leaving. Violetta was always able to make people want her—not love her or care about her, but want her. After one particularly nasty heartbreak, she decided to take a break from dating to concentrate on one day taking over the company. But before she knew it her world came tumbling down. The one man that was a constant figure in her life left, just like all the rest. When her father passed away Vi was crushed. If her heart was broken before, now it was completely shattered. That was when Violetta decided to give up on love. It was overrated. It would always end up in heartbreak and unappealing mascara tears trailing down your face. After the funeral, she decided to move somewhere to forget. She had heard of a little town on the border of California and Oregon nestled in the forest that was a supposed safe place for the children of the gods. So she took a chance and packed up her bags, not knowing whether her stay there would be permanent or temporary.

It took a while for Violetta to settle into what she called her new home in the Aura Lofts. She was so used to the hustle and bustle of the city that the calm and quiet town of Olympus made her heart ache for home. But she knew that she needed to get away from the now silent household that she used to share with her dad. She did have to admit the new atmosphere was refreshing. The town was cute even if it was a bit boring. Vi didn’t forget about her father’s fashion empire though. Of everything that she wanted to get away from fashion wasn’t one of them. Afterall, she did inherit the company and she wanted to make her dad proud. She worked from afar, designing the new clothes in her sketch book and picking fabrics from the swatches sent to her. Vi threw herself into her work but did manage to go out every so often when she needed a break. She had to show off her new designs somehow.

↳ 🔱 Personality

Violetta can come off as a spoiled materialistic girl that only cares about fashion and whether those Louboutins are a knock off or not. In reality she does love her clothes but she is also a very smart girl that believes people are generally selfish. It’s in their best interest to do what’s best for themselves to survive and get ahead in life. Vi is pretty reserved and very observant. She has a tendency to try to find faults in people before considering that they could actually be genuine. That’s why she uses others before they have a chance to use her. This way she won’t get hurt and she’s the one in control. Vi is really sweet but whether that’s a facade or not is based on the person. Sometimes she is genuinely nice if she deems that the person is worth her time but this is a rare occasion. When she does happen to find someone she cares about she is fiercely loyal and will do anything for them, but most of the time it’s Violetta feigning innocence and kindness in order to get something from someone. She doesn’t go out of her way to do it, but when she’s bored she finds that her manipulative side is fun to play around with.

Cassandra Frossard was born on August 18th, at a fancy hospital in New York. Her mother was a 31-year-old-woman highly successful for who started life as a bartender. She used to work at night to help her parents pay her college. Megan always dreamed about being a lawyer, and in five years, she became one of the bests from Michigan, moving into New York and opening her own office. It was her third month in the city when she met him. An extraordinarily handsome and powerful man, who used to call himself “Zeus”. Megan thought it was a joke, of course, what else could be? But after some months being involved with that man, she could not deny he was definitely different from any other. It was impossible not fall in love.

 Nine months later, Cassandra came to the world strong and healthy. Unlike her mom who almost died at childbirth. Doctors were already expecting it would be an arduous surgery, because a few years before, Megan was diagnosed with endometriosis. Being so, she moved back to Michigan, where she could recover while her parents would be helping to take care of little Cassie. The lady passed over a year lying on that bed, but even so when she was healthy again, she decided to keep living in Detroit because she thought it would be better for Cassandra grow up there than in New York.

 It was an amazing childhood. Even without a father, Cassie couldn’t ask for better. She had her mom and her grandparents! That was all she needed. They were loving, fun, caring, protective, and any of them would do anything to support their little girl and give her the chance of making her dreams came true. However, that beautiful life was too good for a kid like Cassie: a demigod.

 She was five years old when the first monster showed up. Megan had just sought the daughter at school, and they were going to shop some ornaments for grandma’s anniversary party. At one of the stores, Cassandra felt something wrong at the moment they entered that place, but she couldn’t explain what. Well, the clerk was a Centimane. He attacked as soon as he had the chance. The girls could run away of the store, but the monster caught Megan up some meters after. Everything happened so fast that Cassie’s memory turned into a few simple flashes. She just remembers a feeling of deep anger, stronger than anything she had ever felt. In a moment, the monster was there, he had killed Cassie’s mom and now he was coming for her. But in the other, a violet lightning hit the centimane and he turned into a golden dust, totally disappearing. When the girl realized what she had done, she let out a scream of horror and despair. She ran to her mother’s body, but it too late.

 Poor Cassandra… She cried for months, never overcame mother’s death 100%. But she had to learn to deal with the pain. After all, she still had her grandparents. Although they were suffering just like her, they tried to show her that she still could be happy and that she still had an entire and big life to live.

 Well, due what happened it was a little hard keep lying to Cassie about her real nature, and they couldn’t risk another attack like that. So, they moved to Olympus Town, where Cassandra would be safe. There, they owned a “Coffee-Library” called Literary Coffee, where the young girl used to devour piles of books and pass hours in front her notebook writing her owns. But she wanted more! Life was much more than books. The world was much more than books! She wanted to know everything the world could teach her. Learn about new cultures, speak new languages, embrace new values, be always discovering something new.

 At the begging, her grands didn’t like the idea of Cassandra travel (alone) to the other side of the world. But of course, she would accept a “no” as an answer. Then they realized how important it was to her do all that, even for her own maturing. She had just started high school when she went on her first exchange program. Destiny: 3 months in Australia. The next one was to France, where she stayed for 2 months. But the most recently it was the one she loved at the most: 6 months in Brazil. All these travels were not “normal” exchanges. They were from an especial program for demigods, so Cassandra went to schools, camps, institutes where she learned how to fight, defend herself, control and use her powers, everything a young demigod like her needed to know about the mythological world. She also participated in missions (leading most of them, of course), fought with real monsters, and almost died a few (a bunch of) times.

 It is a fact that Cassandra doesn’t have one of the worsts pasts comparing with others demigods, but all the things she has done, principally her travels, collaborated to construct the woman she is nowadays. Strong, sophisticated, forward, independent and wise.

Passionate about the world, now Cassandra studies International Relations at Olympus University. If you are looking for someone to talk about world politics, Cassie is this person. The brunette girl spends most part of her days on college’s halls and at Literary Coffee helping her grands. Once in a while, you can also find her doing volunteer work at A&A, normally in children’s area. She wishes do these things in a bigger way someday, like end hunger, or something similar. Yes, we can say that she still is that kid who thinks she can save the world from problems. Twice a week she goes practice fight movements in the forest. And in her free time, she usually goes to the Pontus Pier or to Euthymia with her friends.

Cassie is charismatic, talkative, graceful, and like every demigod, she’s kind of a troublemaker. Although her bigger abilities are for History and Geography, she never had many difficulties for the other subjects, being particularly intelligent. She is confident and a good fighter, dedicated to her practices. She is also a little adamant; it’s hard to make her change her mind. Competitive, this girl will always try to win anyone on something. Among friends, Cassie is kittenish, she likes to smile and make them feel good. She believes life was made to be lived, she does not like to lose time and she wants that every moment be something to remember forever. Normally, she has kind of a crush for smart, seductive, and powerful boys. She wants someone who respects her as a woman, respects her dreams and knows what she is capable of.

 The Frossard girl is a free soul, a dreamer, but she has to understand that she cannot solve all the world’s problems at once, especially alone. She is a good leader, she knows how to deal with groups and she has a good speech, however she needs to learn to put her pride aside when it’s necessary and admit that a plan made up by Athena’s children is better than a plan made up by Zeus’ children.

Lisette Soriano is her father’s daughter. She’s cold and calculating. Raised in the southern states of America, Lisette learned to disregard stupidity and ignorance. As a daughter of Dionysus, she learned that the human mind is a weak thing – something to be twisted for personal gain. The only friendships she has ever had have been those that would grant him power or prestige in some way. She is higher than the human race – a hybrid of mythical gods. She is always trying to prove herself better than the people around her, even the people she calls his friends. Some think Lisette is this way as an act for attention. They believe she sticks her nose into the air as a cry for help. Others, like her brothers and sisters, know it is in her blood.

The cold, calculating mind is related directly to the god of madness. She was born from the darker side of Dionysus; the side that broke the mind of men. Lisette knew there was another side – one of ecstasy and freedom. Those did not interest her as much as the possibility of madness did. She wanted to watch men rip at their flesh because she willed it. She wanted to be as godly as she could be. Even as a child, Lisette was known to tell the other kids to fight, laughing as were filled with a rage that could only be sated by the blood of the other. She was not a good kindergartner.

Lisette tries and fails to only speak to the children of powerful gods; the children of the gods that molded the world into what it is today. She has no interest in a girl that can raise wheat or a boy that can craft a sword. She wants lightning bolts and tidal waves; armies of corpses and warriors of Ares. Her mother knew she would become this way, which is why she was sent to Olympus. She wanted her father to show her the other side of her gifts. If only she would have known how little the children of the wine god saw their father. Lisette has no interest in her father. Unless the god of wine starts giving away immortality, she doubts she ever will.

She’ll piss on your insecurities without an ounce of guilt and swing a sword of sarcasm at your friendly face. Putting people down makes herself feel better. A psychologist would tell her that she behaves so negatively to everyone because she wants everyone to feel as bad as she does. And she’d tell that psychologist to fuck off. She pushes everyone away, sometimes even his family. She comes off as cocky and elitist but has low self-esteem and engages in self-destructive behavior.

Nineteen and nothing significant had happened to Quinn Valentine, yet. And it was very true to say that it was his own fault. It’s not like he cared about the insignificance. It was actually established early on in his life that Quinn didn’t care about much — or so he thought. He never really remembered anything from his past, or childhood that much; all that he remembered was that he was sent to live with his grandparents at the tender age of nine. When he turned sixteen though, later on down the road, he realized just how much freedom he had by not living with his unstable mother and with his relaxed grandparents instead. Ever since, he has been in and out of his grandparent’s place in the big city. Holding down multiple low-end jobs at a time to support himself, Quinn is no stranger to the act of being self-reliant.

Quinn was sent to Olympus for his own safety after his powers began to spark into fruition. He didn’t get it at all as he was never a big reader and wasn’t familiar with the Greek myths, so he had an adjustment period… with the whole overwhelming thing. It was really difficult for him at first, but then as time passed by he found himself becoming used to the place. It didn’t stop him from still feeling a bit lost though. And, thankfully, Hades didn’t forget to claim him… and that helped the pale boy cope, somehow. In Quinn’s perspective the town was nice; he always had something to do, and he felt privileged that he was a children of one of the Big Three. He felt far from plain, but had a lot of catching up and learning to do.

Committing himself to a demigod’s lifestyle, Quinn stayed at Olympus for eleven months every year, and he only came back to his grandparents just for a month to keep that healthy connection to his life before coming to town. And his life somehow ended up being a routine, but he didn’t mind at all because every now and then he can always spark something up just for his entertainment while inside the borders of town. Although everything seems all right now, after living in town for a little under three years, it really wasn’t because he keeps on having terrible headaches and images flashes inside his head — nothing that makes much sense at all.

↳ 🔱 Personality

Quinn had always been somewhat different than his peers and it’s not only because he’s a semi-reckless kid with ADHD and Dyslexia, nor because he’s the son of the god of the Underworld. Although, it explains why he never had what we could name a normal childhood. He is an outspoken person. He isn’t afraid to voice his opinion on a subject or to people. He doesn’t believe that people should be lied to and it doesn’t help anyone to be lied to. They deserve to know the truth, even if it isn’t what they want to hear. It’s not going to help them at all and he would feel bad about it. That’s not to say though that he will be an asshole and just say whatever he wants all the time. Lucas cares about peoples feelings, and how it can effect someone so he says his words with care eventhough they tend to be quite blunt.
