“Uhm, excuse me but could you...” Amelie stopped once she noticed the earphones so she tapped him on the shoulder and waved.

“What a rough couple weeks it’s been.”

“I agree... but wait, what are you referring to?”

“Yeah, he’s my older brother.” Ingrid smiled, raising an eyebrow. “I feel you on that, but if you want to have a drink, I can make you one back at my apartment. That way you don’t have to be concerned by what might happen if you’re out, or we can go out. If you want.”

"Wow, what a small world! I would have never being able to tell." She said with a smile. "Would you really? What do you think it's good for someone who has never drank before?" She wondered, trying hard not to make big deal out of it. "You know, lets go out. I want to live a little bit before it is all taken away from me."

“Then whatever lecture you’ve reading about Japan has missed tzo inform you about all the strict daily rules I fear. They might not all apply that much for tourists, though.”

"Strict daily rules? Interesting... would you say that the culture there is more conservative or is just the social standards?" She pondered. “Because my time in Tokyo was brief, but I never really saw anything so strict.”

“Yeah, it’s been my dream for a while now.” Aurora smiled, ignoring the girl’s near slip-up. If she didn’t want to talk about it, Aurora wouldn’t make her. “Oh, are they a senior? I might know them. And I do only see one other student as real competition, if I’m honest. No offense to your friend.” 

"You must be really well grounded and determined to go for such a high post. In a lot of ways that's very admirable." She said with a gentle smile before shaking her head. "He's only a sophomore and as far as I know he doesn't really want such a powerful position, so your competition won't be so bad, I hope."

"I really dislike people like that. Those that think they can play or walk over other people's emotions as if we didn't matter." She sighed, suddenly thinking of her own family. "Well, like I said, the color definitely looks great on you."

"Ah.." She nodded. "Isn't it great how wands pretty much have minds of their own? I find that mesmerizing."

“What does it even matter. At least I know now so you can stop pretending to be a saintly know-it-all, and yes I told you I will judge, because you can’t ruin someone else’s life out of selfish reasons. I don’t know if you’ve had a reality check but that’s not the way things work. So please do keep up the disguise the day of the wedding so I don’t have to be reminded of who I’m truly being forced to marry.”

His harsh words forced tears to fill her eyes as her face reddened. There was no point in hiding it if he already knew everything she had done and now wished she could take back. Still, anger managed to creep up on her when he mentioned the wedding. "No!" She yelled at him, taking off the wig. "This is not who I am. Everything you just said is not who I am. I've made a mistake and I am sorry. I never wanted it to be this way, but I had to do something. I just couldn’t-" She stopped, taking a step back before sitting down and covering her face with her hands.

"What's the difference, don't you have a thing with him?" Amelie asked with a sigh. "I made this mess I have to find a way to end it. I'll do anything in return. Promise."

“Well if you’re part of my family, you’re either a psycho bitch, or a crazy Agnes, or Will for that matter. So, I don’t try and think about it that much, when I want to have fun.”

Amelie looked at her confused before flashing a smile. "Will? You are related to him?" She wondered. "I wish it would be that easy for me. To be honest I think I just need to break away from it all and possibly have a drink or two."

“I don’t really know where you’re going but it looks great.”

“I know you set this up to help Aria. When are you going to stop pretending? Sure, save your own and fuck the rest. Maybe you’re not so different from the rest of them.”

Amelie wanted to protest but she didn't really have the energy to also argue with him. Yes, her sister was now ignoring her existence for having done this but there really wasn't much she could have done to protect her. "Who told you that?" She asked, avoiding eye contact. "Please feel free to judge me all you want but I know you would have done the same if you were in my situation. Still there's not much I can do to fix it now, it's all up to your father."

“I could, but I have a feeling it wouldn’t look good for a future Minister of Magic.” 

"Oh you're a ministry major?" She asked with a hint of interest. "My fi... Friend. A close friend of mine is also studying that, but I don't think he'll be much of a competition."

"What? Well... Yes. Have you ever tried doing something for your family but they just end up despising you?"

"No, I've just never really given it much thought, and if you are part of my family then drinking means you're bound to to become a never ending mess."

“I am normally…. not blonde,” Josephine admitted at this suggestion, blushing a little. “Someone…. here played a prank on me with it but… then I decided to just keep it this way. At least for a while.”

"Really? I would have never guessed; it looks natural." She said with a smile. "It's awful that someone would do that to you, though, but at least you can now say that the joke is on them.
