eliwood has four different heroes verses.
his first is his askr verse; summoned to askr in either his normal or valentine's alt, he serves the summoner as he normally would, using durandal or the casa blanca. nothing's really different here.
his second is his embla verse, where after being released from veronica's contract, deems to stay with her much like xander does. he later becomes involved in the save veronica plot, to help other heroes get her out of surtr's grasp, though he does end up facing off against him; it's more a distraction however, and he is burned by the muspell king and left to die. it's likely that he's found, but it could be too late.
his third is eliwood still on askr's side, but in his older binding blade alt. he doesn't have durandal, as roy has it, instead wielding his own personal blade svripdagr ( the name of a norse hero in the svipdagsmál, means "sudden day" ). things proceed as normal, and ingrid eventually takes him back to her world for medicine to help his recurring illness.
his forth and final verse is 'bad end' eliwood. he's also in his older incarnation, but from a timeline where roy was killed in his mission, and the dragons were released. he has durandal here, having likely recieved it from lilina as a last memento of his son. he's very obviously, after a short while of being near him, not the same at all ( who really would be? ). having been wielding durandal again for a bit now, and it's effects already weighing on him from the first time he used it, he's beginning to lose his mind; hallucinations, voices, delusion, all effects of durandal's curse. the semi-sentience the blade seems to have also drives him to be more brutal and rash, at times doing things without listening or orders, especially if roy and/or lilina are in danger.
