The River Bure in Wroxham has been fishing really well of late so it was time to get out the light lure rod and head on over to try and catch a perch or two.

My quest for perch wasn’t exactly going to plan, and in order to increase my catch rate it became clear I needed to make some massive changes.

My Korum Snapper rod..... snapped! If you are looking to buy a drop shot fishing rod there’s one you should avoid and that’s the Korum Snapper. 

I bought the Korum Snapper drop shot rod because it got good reviews and write ups, but the first time I used this rod (yep - the FIRST TIME) the top section broke in two! Check out this clip of my Korum Snapper drop shot rod breaking - make sure you don’t make the same mistake I did!!

I am always on the look out for new places to go fishing for perch, and I think this recent find is a gem. Not only does it look a haven for perch and really ‘fishy’ it is also in a stunning location that is peaceful and quiet. I can’t wait to get the rods out and give it a go. The Korum Snapper drop shot rod gets a lot of good reviews and write ups, and this is how I was suckered in to parting with my hard earned money for one.

Now I have used the Korum Snapper drop shot rod I can honestly say it is not that good, and a total waste of money in fact. The Korum Snapper drop shot rod is weak, inferior and not up to the job it was designed to do. Take a look at this clip and you’ll soon see what I mean.
