As a college student totally obsessed with the blogging atmosphere, what better way to express my understanding of sociology than to blog about it? Social Change Each lesson has 5 posts pertaining to it and explaining different sociological concepts describing that lesson.

Most people believe in a specific religion, but as for me I do not. I don't believe in a God and a Heaven and Hell but I do believe in a spiritual supernatural aspect. People say thee Ouija board is all fake but I do believe you can make a spiritual connection. It is said that if you acknowledge a spirit more then they will respond.

Going to a concert is always an amazing experience to me. Being involved with a crowd of people engaged in the same love and passion for music or a band is a sort of magical experience.

The conflict between these two is that there is a scarce source of PS3 controllers and they both want to play. Whether they choose to share or not can determine the social status of the teenagers in the house.

I was in kindergarten in this picture and I was just branching off from my preschool environment and friends. I had to lear new rules and ways of behaviors and learned how to act with a new group of friends.

You learn at an early age who you are your role in society as yourself. I know that I am a sister and a cousin and I am the eldest that they will look up to.

I use Facebook as a personal connection to keep in contact with my family who live all over the united states. With my Facebook I can update them with recent pictures and news without having to send mail or dial the phone.

LIFE IN GROUPS: Instrumental Leadership

I was captain of my high schools color guard team. It was my goal to get my team well organized and prepared to win championships. We came in second place in our class that year.

SOCIAL CLASS: White Collar

"A description characterizing workers and skilled laborers in technical and lower management jobs."

My mom is considered a white collar employee since she has a college degree and uses her degree to work and be a middle class citizen.
