I thinkkk he's too busy to just use the bathroom whenever he wants..
During long nights patrolling Mondstadt as the Darknight Hero, Diluc ignores his body's needs for hours!! he's far too proud to duck into an alley. So he just holds it until dawn, then he finally stumbles into his own bathroom with a rare whimper of relief,, or maybe he doesn't make it 🤷♀️
(Idk if this is slightly canon divergent cuz I barely remember all the stuff about his darknight hero persona,, I'm not even sure if he still does it.. So just pretend I'm fully confident in my lore knowledge ok..)

Since I'm pretty sure he has sadomasochistic tendencies, I'd say he holds it just for the fun of it. He enjoys that slight pain that comes with an absolutely full bladder, and he especially enjoys the leaks he physically can't stop when he's fighting.
I don't think he's ever held it and not enjoyed it..
I think he has a decently strong bladder if he hasn't abused it by holding his piss until his bladder ached that week, maybe a bit on the smaller size given the size of his body.
He definitely knows his limits and he likes to think of himself as responsible since he knows his limits, but he actively fights against said limits and tries to break his own records for how long or how much he can hold.
I think he would definitely wear something tight like a corset under his clothes just to press down on his already full bladder.
Though, he knows there are times and places, and when he's working alongside others, is definitely not the time nor place. If he does have to go around others, if they're in an outdoor setting he'd probably just whip it out and go behind a tree or a bush.. If not, he'd go out of his way to find somewhere private where he can.
If he is forced to hold it, honestly he'd probably enjoy it, he would be shifting quite a lot, bouncing his leg, and he probably wouldn't stop complaining. If he's just with someone that he's romantically involved with, especially if they're into piss, he may just start teasing them with the fact he's about to burst.
Honestly, I think he'd enjoy pissing himself almost as much as he enjoyed holding it, especially if the aforementioned romantic partner was there to see it.

I would assume that he's quite busy, so that often leads to having to put off breaks or even too caught up in something to even consider a break; which would then lead to him having to put off using the bathroom 👀
If he isn't busy, he'd usually get up and use the bathroom when the urge reaches about 4/10.
But when he *is* busy, he just has to hold it. I think he would get a little irritable when the urge reaches around 7/10, but other than that he has quite a good poker face
I think he's decent at hiding needing to go, but he does bounce his leg quite a bit. Whenever the urge gets bad enough, he will start to cross and uncross his legs and shift a lot.
When he does reach a point when he's quite desperate (about 8-9/10) he attempts to get out of whatever's been keeping him busy if possible. If he can't, thats when he'd resort to turning to others for help, maybe asking them to cover for him or even getting him a bottle to piss in.
Speaking of bottles.. Lowkey I don't think he'd piss in a bottle unless he's actively leaking, and even then I feel he'd hesitate a tiny bit..
Whenever he has an accident, I feel he just plays it off as something normal but also makes an attempt to get out of the situation as fast as possible.. He definitely fights to hold it in until he physically can't.
He has a fairly strong bladder, and I'd say he can hold a decent amount for someone his size, maybe a decent bit above average.
