hi i really love your art and i wanted to ask if it was alright if i put one of your doc ock study pieces as the cover image of a spotify playlist if i credit you in the description of the playlist?
Sure, I don't mind at all!
Hi all, I'm still alive and opening comms again 🤠 If you're interested or have any questions please send me a message!
still open slots btw
Hi Omu, how are you? I hope you're doing well. I wanted to ask you something: how do you draw hair? I really admire how you do it, it looks amazing. For me it feels really hard to even get started, it seems too complex.
I love your art.
Hello! First of all thank you so much, and second I'm really sorry for taking 5 business years to respond...
So for the basic idea, I treat the hair as one big blob at first, breaking it down into three parts starting with a mid shade (I'll paint the example on top of this man):
And then I go with a darker shadow shade to add the basic dimension into the blob
And lastly I add a highlight shade
And then of course you can keep alternating between these to bring out certain strands and details, add different hues and more highlights to make it more dynamic and so on. It's important not to start overdetailing immediately, I like to focus on getting the most basic shape and dimension in first. I hope this helps somewhat!
Omu, what are your personal favorite movies?
Sorry for the late reply 💀 I don't really watch a lot of movies anymore lately because I'm lacking energy for it, but I like horror movies so probably Halloween, Saw.. I also think Oldboy (the korean one) is one of the best non horror. I also like Nic Cage movies.. I enjoy things that are a bit ridiculous
Yeah, DBD as a survivor can be kinda frustrating, especially in solo queue — that’s why I prefer playing as killer. Speaking of video games, who would you say are your personal favorite characters?
I was actually meaning I die in Alan Wake 😭 I've been in DBD hell long enough to not question anything anymore tbh My fav characters are easily Vergil and Wesker, though I also like a lot of others like Tekken Yoshimitsu was one of my first favourites back in the day
Hi Omu! I hope you’re feeling better after those migraines.
Have you been playing any videogames recently?
I'm better, thank you!
Besides still playing DBD every other day (help) I started Alan Wake but didn't get very far yet.. I'm kinda just waiting for Silent Hill f and the new Pokemon to come out
i always remember you exist bc im greatly looking forward to putting some of your art on my walls in the (hopefully) near future :>
