I was a jmj truther before but now I think I'm starting to not be one and it's making me sad and confused 😕 I know you aren't a truther so I would be really grateful how you are able to create a boundary between shipping them but not going into the truther territory if that makes sense. Over the past few weeks I have been questioning things and having doubts but there didn't seem to be a place I could share then so if you or any other anon sees this then please do help me. One of the things which made be doubt when I was a truther is that mj had the biggest scandal of her career in December and frkm her bubble message on 31st December we can tell it was a difficult time. Then we saw jmj going on separate vacations and it made me think that if they were a couple then why would jm leave her gf and gon on a trip with her friends tight after her gf just had an extremely difficult month, if it was me I wouldn't do that. Of course this was from a place where I used to think they are together, as friends it doesn't matter much I guess and clearly as friends mj didn't mind as she still likes jm very much. I don't know it didn't seem like how couples move in such a circumstance and on mj's bday live too none of the members joined her like they joined aeri for hers and it didn't seem like jm celebrated mjs bday with her on Jan 1st. Even now I think that most things jm does with mj aren't mj exclusive now that I am taking a st back and looking objectively I guess like jm hugs other people just as tight, lifts them up and even carasses their head like we saw in the ryurina tiktok today. There doesn't seem to be any mj exclusive things anymore even jagiya hasn't been and now jm doesn't even call that anymore not even on social media. This isn't to say they aren't friends because they obviously are but I don't know, do other ankns here think they are together?
I'm sorry for rambling but I'm just really confused I have never shipped anyone like I shi them so it's getting hard for me to create that boundary so I don't distress myself over things I can't control. Please do share some advice about the whole shipping thing, I do I stop and just become a normal shipper or fan

Truther or not, I really don’t think shipping should stress you out that much. I get that feeling sometimes too, but then I remember all the things they’ve done that made me happy, and I kind of come back to it but ik it doesn’t works for everyone tho
I don’t really have many tips since I’m delusional like that lmao, but maybe try not to overthink what’s real or not (if they are canon in my head then its true kind-of-mindset) or just enjoy their bond as it is right now, it might help. And also, please curate your timeline/algorithm toward jmjers!! When your timeline is full of jmj you become jmjpilled too tbh
About the December rumor, I don’t know if you remember, but we kept seeing jm with her behind the scenes, they were in the same car, walking together during fansigns, etc. And during last year’s festivals, mj was clinging to jm a lot.. like thats her safe space!!
For the holiday thing, this might sound like coping, but I kind of get it. It’s probably hard for jm ryujin, and sua to find a time where all three are free, and they might have planned it before all the rumors. Plus, we saw how jm supported mj’s birthday backstage, she was so gentle and girlfriend-coded (thank god they are so lovely all the time bc if its not then ik the editor find ways to cut it out lmao) That doesn’t feel like someone who knew her closest person would get into trouble the next day. And mj was probably okay with jm proceed with her planned holiday, i mean who knows
and the birthday thing.. girl jm literally posted at 00:00 saying she was next to her… like, why would you say she wasn’t with her? 😭 and if we talked abt bday live, it was mj’s schedule. Even during mj bday party, some people were already complaining that jm was “taking the spotlight.” and tbh you can’t really compare it to aeri’s bday live.. her live was spontaneous, they were all practicing in the same building, and jm was just appear for short while coming and going (bc she had that dance challenge with tvxq cmiiw). for mj’s birthday, the live was clearly planned, with decorations and everything. I’m sure jm knew it was meant for mj and her fans.
As for the Ryurina hug, it just screams “bros” to me. If you don’t feel the difference, then I guess we just see it differently :(
So yeah, as a truther, my “tip” is to focus on the positive and stay a little delusional 😭 But overall, if being a truther stresses you out, it’s okay not to be one, jmj is still fun either way. There are so many dynamics to enjoy tho,,, and if all of it still making you feel bad, it’s completely okay to take a break from shipping altogether imo maybe the next jmj moment will bring that excitement back again!
