Too Close For Comfort : Open
Charlie exhaled a puff of air through his cheeks. Apologetic people were tough to keep snapping at, even if he did feel like a caged dog. “Cool it your highness, it’s fine, don’t sweat it.”
As people flooded behind him, pushing him forward like the tide, he grabbed her by the shoulders, pushing her towards the the back of the room as she was in his way and there was no really getting around her. As he reached the back, he took a deep breath. “Much better.”
Amalthea had opened her mouth to speak again but closed it as she was taken by the shoulders and moved. Unconsciously she felt herself tense a bit under the hands upon her shoulders. Only when they were let go did she relax again.
Her violet eyes glance over all those in the car. "I didn't realize there were so many people at the carnival...well I knew there were a lot just didn't know exactly how many..." She noted mostly to herself. "I wonder what exactly is going on the requires everyone to be in one area...I hope it's nothing bad..."
