Happy Munday! Hope it's going well! Your art is incredible! What was the inspiration behind this blog? Why a pachirisu?

((happy munday!! and aaa thank you so much! pachirisu is my all time fave pokemon ever! (so much that im getting a tattoo of it soon!) i also wanted to do something more simple for like. future animatics and such! >:) azazel is super ez and fun to draw! :D))

howdy, happy Munday! how're you doing? here's the question for the week: how did you come up with the idea for your blog? was it inspired by a piece of media, or something you read, or pure stroke of genius, or something else entirely?

((hello hello!! :D so Azazel was actually a pmd oc I made back in 2018!! he had a little story attached to him but I never gave him more than that so I was like hey, why not make him an askblog!

hes not inspired by any character in particular, so im gonna go with he was made by a pure stroke of genius haha!! ))

*Destino saunters up to the pachirisu. They take a good look at him and smirk.*

Destino: Hey buddy, I think you forgot to take off your ridiculous costume. That eye patch is the worst thing I've ever had to look down upon. Oh wait, is it something you've actively chosen to wear? Wow. How embarrassing. Other Pokémon let you look like that and haven't told you how utterly awful you look. Then again, you don't seem like the type to have any friends. No wonder you've not been told. Tell me, did you decide that looking like an utter fool would make you look cool? Or are you that oblivious to the hideous nature of your appearance and fashion choices?

"You couldn't have been at least a little original with your insults?" He laughs, turning to face the absol now. His gaze fixates on the others face, and blue begins to spark from his cheeks, "Or are you intentionally looking for a fight?"

"Whoa... you look so cool!! You're very tall... and have nice fur! What kind of place do you live to look like that?" Asks the Pichu, staring with wide eyed curiosity.

"Slow down....what's with the hat? You some kinda wannabe adventurer?"

[curious-pichu]

"Kid? I'm fully grown!" He then nods, holding the tip of his hat with a paw. "And yeah! I always see adventurers wearing hats, rings or other cool stuff!"

"Did you..." The Pichu then fiddles with his paws as he pauses, as if contemplating something. "Do you adventure? That...eyepatch..."

There's hesitation in his features for a brief second before he speaks again,

"My name? I'm Canvas! A blank canvas that can do anything, or so I've been told... what's your name?"

Canvas, about to reply to the Pachi's adventuring comment... immediately smiles upon being questioned. The Pichu grabs the stone off of his collar, holding it out to Pachirisu to inspect.

It was an oddly round stone, with a thunderbolt bolt symbol visible inside of it. "My hat and bag are treasures I've found- but this is one I found in the forest, when I was very young. I thought it looked cool on me so I kept it!"

Azazel inspects the stone closely, and something in the back of his mind tells him to take it for himself...but he doesn't. Instead he hands it back to the pichu, a grin on his face. "Keep that stone close to ya, kid- Canvas. Dunno what it's for...but it seems special enough. If I were you, I wouldn't be handing it out for strangers to 'inspect'. Can't trust everyone out there."
