Capital approached the three, seemingly lost in thought. "You know, I am quite curious, what exactly is an 'Ideal' of Arceus? It is not a concept I have heard of before. Is it a title of sorts, or does it entail more than that? From what I have gathered, they seem to be highly respected. Is that a name you can earn, or is it rather something you are born with?"

“The Ideals are not something obtained by a shaman, rather… they are what give the Shaman their extra abilities, such as purification, that much has been established. But, other then that, some Shaman believe that the power is given through Arceus’ own values, literal “Ideals” if you will. Others think the Ideals are a group of Pokémon of sorts… and some believe both.”

“You see, there’s limited texts and books when it comes to certain things regarding the beliefs of the Shaman. The texts we do have mention the Ideals, that they are important, but not what or even who they are. If you ask me, the lack of information is a bit alarming. But anyway, I do apologize if my answer did not make much sense, or was not satisfactory enough.”

Capital looked at Series inquisitively, a smile on their face. They asked, "all Arceus are meant to have Plates, no? At least most that I know, do. What use do you give them? I wonder if they are simply a tool to you, or something more." They paused briefly, smile unwavering, before asking another question: "Oh, I do hope it is not rude of me to ask, but ah, since you do seem to dislike dragons... what about the Draco Plate? Do you regard that power of yours differently than the rest...?"

They are to follow specific guidelines that I have given them, in order to carry out my judgement. It is much easier to have them use their perspectives to make localized decisions.

The plates contain primordial, cosmic power within them. Those who have such a plate channel the unfiltered power of their element, and so they are only in the possession of legendaries and mythicals that I deem worthy and responsible of carrying that power.

I burden myself with that wretched Draco Plate, I would rather carry it than let it reach the claws of one of those beasts.

Capital sat in front of Destiny, eyes almost gleaming with curiosity. "I must ask, what is this whole deal with 'Aspects', and the 'Aspect of Time'? It sounds quite interesting, if you ask me. Was this 'First Hero' that you mentioned one of the few that could awaken to such power?"

"Well, the story starts off pretty similar to the Champions of old... Not that there's much older than me in my universe by now. Anyway, like the Champions, they were brought from the human world. They took the form of a Mew with a split tail. There are records of a partner, similar to all but one of the humans brought to my world, but nobody can remember them."

Destiny sat on the sand, crossing her forelegs in front of herself as she recalled what she'd been told, as well as what she'd witnessed herself once or twice when she overshot her destination during her time loop travels.

"During their journey to prepare for the ultimate confrontation, my world's deities gave them fragments of their own power, pooling it into them, as well as their hope." Destiny drew a circle in the ground, with lines going through as she listed off the aspects. "Willpower, Knowledge, Emotion, Time, Space, Life, Decay, Dreams, Nightmares... And above the rest, in the league of its own and requiring the others: Creation." As she listed the final one, she drew a smaller circle in the center.

"Without the other Aspects, Creation supposedly has no power to draw from. They were... shall we say, liberal, in their use of these powers. But even with these gifts, it wasn't enough to win the fight."

"In the end, they could not defeat the Hollow, so instead they made one last gambit..."

"Forcing out all Aspects except Creation and scattering them among mortals in an attempt to keep it permanently out of reach of the Hollow Pokémon..." She slashed at her drawing several times, leaving only the circle representing creation behind. "And in their place, trapping the Hollow inside of their body, before using their dwindling power of Creation to form a seal around themself."

"A seal that they hoped, and believed, would last forever."

She rubbed at one of her ears, feeling it twitch slightly. "Of course, it didn't. The seal keeps it from regaining its true power. That thing breaks before we're ready, and another timeline falls to the cataclysm."

"But I've got a good feeling about this one. Call it a gut feeling, but Echo and the Porygon didn't exist as they do now in previous timelines. Anyway, sorry for yapping your ears off."

Destiny stood up, stretching their legs as they cracked a tiny smile towards Capital. "If you want some more specific details, you might have to ask Aster or Vivian. After all these years, my memory on the specifics are kinda fuzzy so they know a lot more about this stuff than I do right now. ... or Shay, if it pops its head out of the void. Its the best one to ask about all this, being the one that gave them the Aspect of Dreams to begin with."

howdy, happy Munday! how're you doing? here's the question for the week: how did you come up with the idea for your blog? was it inspired by a piece of media, or something you read, or pure stroke of genius, or something else entirely?

Admittedly, it was quite a few things that lead to this thing being made.

Like being a big fan of pokemon in general.

Though probobly one of the main things that lead to it was me finding that dub of TC-96's Mew and Mewtwo series on YouTube several years ago

I liked that series quite a bit

Then I saw a lot more people doin similar things on here and admittedly wanted to join in

Some of my friends also like and have pokemon stuff, which further inspired me.

So I made Reborn, and then eventually this blog

A lot of the characters here came from ideas randomly popping into my head but I think I've managed to make it work.

Sorry if I went a bit off topic there but you get the general idea.
