My license came in the mail today and it is just so weird to see my name written there with ‘Registered Professional Nurse’ after all of this time and work.

Any advice for learning drugs / medication for nursing. I’m going to get flip cards but stressed out.

I would focus on learning the CLASSES of drugs rather than each individual. Know the classes and what suffix go along with it (beta blockers end in -olol). Know the most critical and unique adverse effects. Looking up the mechanism of action of each drug is great because if you know exactly how it works it can help you understand the side effects and why they happen! Good luck!⭐️⭐️

What is the best way to talk about veganism with family?

I think that the way your friends and family will be the most open to hearing about veganism is to not tell them they’re doing something WRONG or BAD, but to show them, calmly and kindly, the benefits and how great veganism is. It depends on what you want to talk about with them. If you just want to tell them you’re vegan and have them be open to it, I think you should just be matter of fact and say hey I wanted to start eating and living this way, I’ve done my research and discovered x,y,z, I can show you if you’re interested. Also just be kind and open about it, be proud and confident even if they are negative which is very possible.
