scary doctor’s appointment this morning because of the aftermath I’m still facing from almost dying back in February due to the negligence of a male doctor :)

ohhhh I had no idea what was coming

6 months ago I had emergency surgery to remove my last remaining ovary bc an ovarian cyst burst & caused ovarian torsion……… I’ve been on a v high dose of hormones since then bc I’m so young and they didn’t want me going through menopause at 30…….. these last few months I have had the most frustrating medical symptoms that confused the hell out of me, like my pelvic floor being so tight/tense/painful that it can’t be released even with PT & issues with my bladder & my sex drive being off the charts but not being able to climax……. this morning I see my regular obgyn & give her the rundown (not without crying of course) and after some tests…….. I find out that MY HORMONE PATCHES HAVE NOT BEEN WORKING. THERE IS HARDLY ANY ESTROGEN IN MY BODY. EVERYTHING GOING ON IS BECAUSE OF THE LACK OF ESTROGEN. I’VE BEEN GOING THROUGH MENOPAUSE FOR SIX FUCKING MONTHS. I can’t fucking believe this. What the fuck??? I’m fucking miserable and THIS IS WHY???

#putting my medical issues and rant under the break just in case #I actually cannot believe this is happening #my hormone levels haven’t been checked once since my hysterectomy OR this last surgery #I was never told that I needed regular testing to keep an eye on them
