57. Rosemary Smash
1 1/2 oz gin
3/4 oz lemon juice
3/4 oz rosemary simple
3 oz soda
Dash herbal or citrus bitters

Rosemary simple
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. water
2 bruised rosemary sprigs
Combine ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring aggressively. Lower heat to medium-low and simmer for 2-3 minutes, continuing to stir. Cool and store in an airtight glass container for up to 2-3 weeks in the fridge.
Spring is here again and it's time for smashes. Crisp, refreshing, and infinitely tweakable, you can make pretty much any sweet herb into a smash ingredient. Basil, tarragon, or lavender would be delicious alternatives to rosemary if you want to mix it up.
