First preparation for the nylon slackline world record in Auvergne https://www.oneinchdreams.com/project... show & event  // keynote speech and talk // film production & licensing When the ancient volcano of Les Roches Tuilière et Sanadoire with its bizarre looking basalt pillars started waiting for this line to be walked, Alexander Schulz Slackliner was still millenias away thinking about how to make a step on a slackline. Where once Lava was spewed out of the wild and gigant crater, purposing to create life and forming the early scenery of the wonderful Auvergne, these days an adventure took place that the dreamers can still tell their children. The first time we went to this place near the Volvic source, wind speeds of up to 125 km/h made a send impossible. But we came back and just about two weeks ago Alex managed to walk this beauty. Don't let yourself get stopped by one defeat, it's only important to be persistent and follow your dreams! The first send took him about 45 minutes; the other two only 30 minutes. The local Slackliners from Free Dôme Line supported us with incredible vibes. We will never forget the energy at the top of Tuilière the evening Alex walked the line. Thanks for these amazing moments! This film tells the story from the beginning to the end. The rigging process was one of a kind, the preparation was a task alone and the training slacklines at the Volvic source and La Grande Cascade where the perfect playground to be well prepared. The landscape in Auvergne with its beautiful scenery full of vulcanos was the perfect location to make that dreamline reality! Two balloons kissing in the air and a slackliner delivering the love to the other side! Thanks to the talented guys of Laschpes for making it possible and showing as well some sick acrobatic paragliding maneuvers! Matthias Dilitz was the main organizer of the whole project and was as well the first to try crossing the line. He tried hard but unfortunately he couldn´t send it. Luckily he was walking with his base-rig... ;-) Fabian Raffl struggled as well a bit in the beginning but he was totally committed to walk that line and after a couple of tries and catches he walked to the other side like a boss!! Congratulations Fabian!!! :-) Next one was our team member Niklas Winter who also struggled pretty much in the beginning with the movement of the balloons and the crazy exposure. But like Fabian he also managed to walk the line before saying ciao ciao to the crew and enjoying free fall. As well you can see the two paragliders hanging of the basket that Simon Weger and Roland Brida used for a sick aerial show! Hats off to everybody for that intense hour high up in the sky!!! What a amazing morning with such a great crew!
