Starman visibly tensed when he saw Charge, taking a few steps back as his eyes widened. The rest of his brothers were one thing, but his line specifically...
He changed his hand into a buster, not yet raising it like he would with any other threat. "S-Stay back." He said, voice already wavering. Despite the fact that his line was after him as well, he still didn't want to hurt them.
Pluto nodded at that. He was glad that in his reality Wily never sent his other creations out after errant members of the family, because he knew all of his direct numbers would be under the gun.
"Wily has forgotten we exist on the station, so word of what goes down on Earth rarely reaches us. Though … you don’t have to worry about me," Pluto said, never once raising even a claw against Starman, "I won’t attack you." He was more than willing to see if he could repair the damage done. Let alone allow Starman to stay on the station where he would be fairly well protected. Though where the star robot didn’t trust him, he knew it was a moot point to ask.
"I can't believe you." Star said after a long pause. He'd been tricked before, he wasn't letting it happen again. Even if Pluto didn't have bad intentions, it didn't hurt for Star to be cautious.
"Leave." He said, raising his buster a little. His eyes were narrowed, but in a way that showed hesitance in attacking the Stardroid. Star still didn't like to fight, but on top of that he knew that the Stardroids were powerful. Getting into a fight with one wouldn't end well for Star.
"...Hello." Starman greeted, waving at Jazz as he smiled tiredly. "Is there something you need of me?" Star had gotten used to helping humans; it was all he really could do nowadays.
"Well, obviously someone beat the circuits right out of you, and I want to know who?" Pluto asked, tail tip starting to snap. Even if this Starman wasn’t from his reality, he still had a loyalty to Wily’s robots. Though when he took a step away he nodded, backing away as well. "I take it I must have done something to hurt you in the past, right?" he asked, even though he was referring to this reality’s Pluto and not himself.
"...I thought you'd know." Star replied, stepping back again and going on the defensive. "My brothers. I left Dr. Wily's cause and now the're after me; the DLN's don't want me around, either, but only my brothers are hunting me down."
He shook his head. "I can't take any chances." He kept his hand changed as a buster, but didn't raise it. "I don't trust you." For all Star knew, Pluto might be after him too.
"Who did this to you?"
Star wiped some coolant away from his mouth, moving away from Pluto and looking at him with distrust. “…I don’t know why you’d want to know.” He said. He took a step away; he wasn’t sure if the other robot was going to attack him or not.
