Getting respect from your care team seems like something you shouldn’t have to ask for. But sometimes you find yourself feeling undermined. So if you’re feeling disrespected, speak up. Even though they are the experts in the field, remind the members of your care team that this is your condition, and that you know your body better than anyone else. And hey, if you feel like your care team gives you nothing but respect, give them a shout-out for being so awesome.

I’m giving this a shot you guys, cos I really need all of the help that I can get. I’m 20 & been on hrt for four months. I recently looked into having breast augmentation, cos I would feel more complete & happy when I look in the mirror every day & see that I have beautiful C cups. I know that being on hrt, my chest won’t grow the size I would like them to be. It sucks sometimes & I have my days where I get deep in my feelings about it & shut down. I still manage to keep it pushing though. I know a lot of people won’t be able to donate, but if you could please like & reblog to get this around! ☺️.
