When Petunia told Hana she'd be returning to Kerria Academy, it was an understatement to say she was simply happy.
She'd been fascinated the moment she laid eyes on her, to say the least. Not necessarily in a romantic way, younger Hana would have had no idea about that. It was the aura she carried around her that could put her at ease, her simplicity and understanding that could bring a smile to anyones face, no matter how grumpy. She was a lot like her name in many ways.
Hana herself would be lying if she said she didn't reminisce about her days with Petunia at this school. She managed without her, naturally. But there was always a certain bang she'd feel in her chest when she'd go to fix her pink-haired friends messy bed-head, even when she was nowhere in sight.
To think that now, the best friend who could hardly wake up in time for class was returning as a teacher's aid--Hana couldn't have been prouder. She patted down her dress, checking to see if her makeup was standard for the umpteenth time before clenching a nervous fist. She opened the door to her dorm and walked out, unconsciously fixing her dress and patting down her hair as her heels clicked to their destination.
Upon her arrival, her eyes darted around the room--catching the familiar blue eyes in an instant. If someone were to ask if Hana was a cryer, she'd deny it in a heartbeat--but there was no denying the glossing of her eyes and concerningly quivering lip.Ā
As quick as a bullet, Hana ran as fast as her heels allowed her--all but jumping on her old friend.
