There's always this time of the day that I look forward to. You know when all the kids are either sleep, glued to the TV, or on some sort of electronic, reading a book or painting...their quiet, in unison 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌At that moment I don't care what it is (as long as it's safe) their quiet, I don't have to have all ears, eyes, and hands on deck I can pour my afternoon joe and maybe JUST maybe put my feet up. Let the week begin!

Patience

Testing or trying of our faith produces patience. In a fast paced ready made society, patience is a key component most lack. Go, fast, ready, now are all verbs we live by especially now whenmost of us have no time to wait with the demands that the day places on our time. But most good things are created slowly, carefully planned and thought out through patience. Patience is an act of love. Have you ever been so out of time not able to wait and done something without thinking and the end result is a mess. Go back over that situation and take your time with it you'll find an easier, more sufficient way you could have gone about and ultimately loved the end result. The practice of being patient Cultivates and produces love which is one of Gods commandments anyway.

ROUTINE

Get up, gets kids ready, make coffee throw on mom clothes (sweater jacket, pants and tennis...a beanie if it's a bad hair day) drop of oldest at school drop off husband at work back home for breakfast for the two lil's, more coffee for me and then go about our day until it's time to pick everyone back up. I've been doing this for a few months since deciding to be a stay at home mom. Even when I worked a full time job there was a routine. Sometimes, I dream of breaking free and enjoying me time for an entire day. No drop offs, no pick ups, no making breakfast, no getting dressed or prepping for dinner, just freedom ! Freedom to do what I like! What is it that I like to do though since this is all Im coming to know. Here's what a perfect Me day would be like. Wake up at noon roll out of bed Grab an ice coffee, drink ice coffee outside in the sun. Get dressed ( comfy maxi dress , flip flops and shades) sit on couch debate where I should go, head to the beach sit and run my feet through the sand decide on sleepy but don't want to leave, take a nap on the beach, get hungry, grab a bite to eat. After I'm full I either want to lay down or shop ...alone time means I can chose the latter lol stroll through the mall pick up a shirt or two. Go home and lounge on the couch to watch family fued. This seems perfect to me...although still a routine it would be all mine. Snap back to reality, the kids are napping and I should be too. Peace :)

There's something...No everything about nature that I love! These unique designs cannot be re-created...not by man at least...God is awesome! I love the sun on my skin, the flow of water, the smell of flowers, the feel of sand between my toes. These are feelings that I enjoy over anything.

To wean or not to wean? That is the question

Soooo with my daughter I thought "ya know by 18 months, she's done, through,finished, fin-I-to! Lol what was I thinking she went to 20months and only stopped because I was pregnant with lil Bro! Well, now that I'm nursing 6 month lil bro I'm thinking more like uhhhh 8 months and then were done! 😩😩 hopefully lol what do ya think? Wean now or wait until 12 months ahhhh I'm so torn!

After 3 years and having 2 kids on my natural hair journey, I semi straightened my. Went from a low Mohawk to...Simba! Lol thanks kids!
