the arc where kevin turns in the power hungry monster at the end of ultimate alien is so crazy to me. ben is pmo bc he literally already knows that it is NOT kevin who is power-hungry, it is the monster that took over kevin's brain. kevin was clearly fighting himself to not hurt gwen but he was losing. max agreeing with ben was also crazy and i don't think he did enough work to get it through ben's head that there is another way.
you can argue that ben should have listened to gwen but she was pmo too. she thought just talking to kevin would fix everything???? she too knows that kevin is not himself and instead of explaining this to ben to get it through his skull, she can't explain through her OWN thick skull that she needs to give a proper explanation and not just "it's not him! u can't do this!" like girl stfu if ur not gonna say anything of substance. ben might have been annoying but at least he explained he felt like he had to do what was necessary 🙄
this could have been a good arc but it just ending up being annoying. ben and gwen are placed against each other just for the entertainment of a sibling fight instead of an actual explanation from both of them to each other and the audience. what is the point of a team if ur just immediately gonna fall apart?
the ending was decent with darkstar and all but, it was all just soooooo annoying. and after kevin is fixed, he doesn't give a good enough thank you to literally anyone involved. like bitch, be THANKFUL THAT BEN DIDNT KILL U AND GWEN DID ALL THIS WORK TO SAVE U 🙄🙄🙄 and ben just is like "ok back to normal guys" like wdym???? u have been angry and scheming to kill him for days, and now everything is back to our regularly scheduled programming? ugh!
