I hate this new "trend" artists are doing that's basically begging.

"will you be a girl's girl and watch this video in x2 so I can make art my full career?" If being a girl's girl means supporting someone who doesn't want to hand out an actual product to sit in front of and look at yet expects any interest from this first impression, then I'd rather not be a girl's girl.

"normalize not skipping artists because of small likes" I'm not skipping you because your art is bad, I'm skipping you because your faith in yourself is so annoyingly low that you felt like you had to resort to lowering yourself like this because your only goal is getting likes. And it's making ME annoyed.

"I spent 20 hours on this. Maybe the algorithm will be kind to me :(" no it won't, not when you don't even want to treat yourself with more respect.

"I would rather you not like this post" ok at your service, skipped.

"pretty please like and share this post so I can make art my full career" not how that works. Have some dignity and start commissions instead of doing this.

And then it's nothing but captions over videos and nothing else. It makes art lose its appeal and diminishes it into a marketing tactic. Why would we ever succumb to this? It feels disrespectful. You spent 20 hours drawing and your tactic is the same as someone following you with a cup in his hand.

And also because of the importance now being placed on virality, the art space is full of nothing but lazy rotoscoped "animations" and memes. Every new art account that pops up is just Diemarchive copied and pasted over and over. It's lame and lazy and disappointing.

We need to somehow revive pictures. Just pictures on the internet. Enough reels and videos, they ruin the whole concept of a drawing. It's meant to be observed and stared at, not watched.

Laz'Aurus or Aurus for shorts, is a head leadear of independet cosmic station, residing on neutral territory, and their main mission is to be a trading station. This place is hardly known by public, but thos who have a special interest in grey, rare or outright banned stuff is always knows how to get there. Aurus himself is quite secretive person, prefering not to be seen in public of his own station much, rarely leaving his main quarters. Disowned by his own kind many decades ago, he grew distant from their culture, being hateful of their notion of being the most perfect creatures in universe, going completely against their ideology and some rules as well. This did not change even after Reinrassig III have become Highbreed Supreme, changing atasian forever.

Yet, no matter how much Aurus disliked his kin, going against their nature and ideology, the one thing he wasnt able to change about himself is congenital disease which was withering away his legs. Disease took many years and powers from him, starting as healthy soldier, traitor of his people and ending up bedridden. And even after DNA recombination event, it might have saved his life from certain death, but did not fixed already done damage. Maybe because of his pride, or perhaps shame, Aurus hides his legs underneath layers of clothes, walking and pretending to be not affected, just to be seen as powerful in the eyes of those he meet.

i love my family but having to choose between doing my work and spending 5+ hours just watching tv is painful. i don't want to isolate from my family either, but i can't help that my work requires me to be alone for extended periods of time. it's an even worse pain only being able to sit down at 2 PM, having to get up at 5PM for housework, and then sitting back down at 10 PM after which you're asked to spend time with others. what the hell am i mean to do?

and it's not like i can do both things at once. i would feel crowded sitting on the couch with my tablet on my lap and then everyone's speaking around me and a movie is playing and i have to be able to hear the sound i'm animating to. plus the constant nagging of "focus on us for a bit" is too much.

techy clothes that represent technological advancement is cool and all, BUT LUXURY!! i love the jewelry here! and the hair and the tailored design. everything is just so amazing in this concept!

would it have made more sense if Ben's alien forms looked more...juvenile?

You look at someone like Tetrax and compare him to Ben's OS Diamondhead design and it feels a little strange all of a sudden that the 10-year-old has the same build as the supposed adult.

it gets even stranger when OS Ben has his sudden crush on Kai as Diamondhead ToT

maybe it's just me idk. but i feel like it would have felt more diverse that way, especially since we have seen aliens in different ages before
