Thoughts go out to Abdelhak Nouri of Ajax, who collapsed during their friendly against Werder Bremem today. The game was called off after the incident in the second half. Ajax have confirmed he suffered from a cardiac arrhythmia and is now in a stable condition

On 8 July 2017, Nouri collapsed during a friendly football match against Werder Bremen due to cardiac arrhythmia. He was taken to the hospital by a trauma helicopter. He was later announced as stable in hospital. On 13 July, Ajax reported Nouri suffered severe and chronic brain damage as a direct result of the cardiac arrhythmia.

The 20 year old will be flown back to Amsterdam for further treatment. We will never get to see him play again, but we do pray that he survives this. #StayStrongAppie

I’d honestly be really sad if James left; but I think he should do what he thinks is the best for his career :)
