[OOC: This is a gimmick/RP blog meant to portray the fictional deadly carnival from the musical, Ride the Cyclone.

-This blog’s version of Wonderville occasionally deviates slightly from the canon show due to the limited information available and some background worldbuilding that has gone down as a result. If you pay close enough attention, you may just catch a glimpse of an ongoing storyline!

-This blog features multiple narrators/characters “running” the blog. There are two authors. We kiss

-The timeline of this blog is deliberately ambiguous and free-floating. I kind of operate on a time loop theory.

-The askbox is always open, and I’ll generally try to reply on time. I’m completely down to interact with existing ask blogs or rp blogs, but since this blog doesn’t represent a specific character, 1:1 RP isn’t really a doable thing. ]

I probably sound like a broken record to all of the artists, but one more time I want to thank everyone for their ideas, their art, and most importantly their patience. Over the last month I've gotten to know 17 (excluding myself haha) of the coolest people in this fandom, all of which are artists I've admired long before I posted the sign up sheets. I also want to thank everyone who signed up! All of you are amazing and I'm so so grateful you all liked my idea so much. It has been so, so awesome putting this project together, and I will forever cherish it as one of the most special things I've ever been a part of.

To the St Cassian's Yearbook Committee, I love you all so so much (/platonic).

Meet George Morten. Self-proclaimed engineer and innovator. Local park owner. Possibly the first man to build and monetize an actually clairvoyant fortune-telling machine, albeit with ulterior motives. Born February 3rd, 1899. Died June 26th, 1958.

Karnak’s creator. Things have not gone as he had planned.

A figure in Canada’s amusement industry, possibly notable only for his bizarre death. Died pinned under the wheels of a roller coaster he constructed himself. Some say that he stood perfectly still as it hurdled towards him. Some say it was as though he already knew.

His creation has only ever possessed the power to bring one back to life. His creation— a being with free will who can see further tragedy in the future, and who has been confined to a life encased in a small box for decades— has chosen not to give that singular second chance at life to him.

Of course, his old original park is no more, having shut down (for most obvious reasons) over half a century ago,

but those who don’t learn from the past are doomed to repeat it, aren’t they?

maybe a hot take but i actually dont like the fandoms perception noel all that much? like people, especially fic writers, will throw away nearly every aspect of his character in favor of “flamboyant twink” and it makes it really hard to find him interesting for lack of a better term
