(( Let me start off by saying that maybe I am not the fastest at roleplaying; i’m mostly turtle slow. so between me accidentally deleting my blog and having multiple breakdowns a minute because my mood has been all over the place and just feeling all around ??? for the past couple of weeks, i’m starting to feel a little better so i wanted to throw this at all of you for being here for me, i’ve been playing stiles for years and this time around has probably been one of the bests. i know i can be annoying and just all around a pain in the butt but i want to thank you all for making my dash a beautiful place to be with your beautiful writing and more. so, just thank you all for being you.

“Hey, you wanna stay and play some video games, dude?” Scott thinks he remembers Liam telling him the two of them would play together before. Ever since they’d brought Mason back, they’d all been worrying about him and they weren’t exactly sneaky about keeping an eye on him. Still, the other was pack and it was about time they hung out. Not to mention that now they actually could, for the time being Beacon Hills was threat free. He wasn’t sure how long it would last, but he wanted to make the most of it. He also didn’t like spending time alone now that Kira was gone.

Looking back at Scott over his shoulder, Mason smiled. He knew Scott probably felt bad for him with the whole beast thing but he also did want to get to know the alpha better. For better or for worse, he knew about the supernatural world and would find himself constantly involved in it. ❝Sure, if you promise to not cheat with your wolfy reflexes. Liam does that and it’s not even fair.❞ Mason turned to sit down on the floor, waiting for Scott to do the same. ❝But I can’t promise I’ll go easy on you. I’m pretty kick ass.❞ The smile on his face widened, his eyes looking over what Scott had available. ❝What’s your favorite? I’m good with like anything.❞ He paused. ❝Not as big on sports games but I’ll play them.❞ Out of the two of them, Liam always fell into the more sporty category. Mason appreciated the uniforms more than he appreciated the SKILLS needed to play in them.

“Borrowed from where, exactly?” Malia looked over some of the books he brought, turning the page and making a face at some of the weird pictures inside of it. Well, Mason had been thorough, it seemed - so whatever they could find out, they probably would. The coyote had been meaning to get around to asking Deaton more about what she was, but he wasn’tACTUALLY in Beacon Hills to ask anymore - and it’s not like she could call him. Too bad that he was the person with probably the most knowledge of all were creatures in general.

         “All I know is what I’ve read from the some of the bestiary. Mostly that it’s easier for werecoyotes to shift than werewolves, and that we can move more silently than them. Other than that? It’s mostly just…stuff about regular coyotes that I know. You?”

❝From - a storage area,❞ Mason responded vaguely, waving his hand off to try and downplay the source of the information. He’d put all of the books back eventually and no one would ever know he took them. Books weren’t safer with anyone else than someone like him anyway. He treated books with the utmost care, shown in the way he carefully flipped one open to scan the information. ❝Mothers tend to lose a lot of their abilities when they give birth. It is passing on the genes or something. A circle of life kind of thing.❞ He paused, glancing over at a book on regular coyotes. ❝Were-coyotes and regular coyotes should have a lot of similarities. I mean the only main difference is you are human too.❞ Reaching for a pad of paper, he started scribbling down a few notes to compare and contrast with what he already had for were-wolves. ❝Are there usually mixed packs or do all of the different were-somethings tended to stick together?❞ Their pack had to be a rarity with how it functioned, especially with including humans, right?

ALLISON

❛   why the BOW  &  ARROWS of all things ?   ❜   handling a bow wasn’t as easy as it looked like. a knife or a gun would be a easier weapon to manage for someone who didn’t seem to have  e x p e r i e n c e s  with any kind of weapons.   ❛  don’t you think defending yourself starts with learning how to defend yourself PHYSICALLYinstead of putting all your TRUST in the use of arms ?   ❜  allison didn’t learn how to use a bow to defend herself in the first place. but she was aware of the  i m p o r t a n c e  of handling a weapon. 

❝With a bow and arrow you can disarm someone and not have to - you know.❞ With a knife you had to get really close to someone to cause damage and a gun had such a finality with it. Mason didn’t want to KILL anyone but he also knew he would have to subdue sometimes. He hoped to avoid it but at the rate things were going he knew he needed to not be a liability. ❝I can’t do what everyone else can. I don’t want to be, dead weight or something.❞ He gave a little sigh. ❝I can run pretty fast and - uh - I’ve been training in the weight room.❞

LYDIA

she almost laughs at that — the corners of her lips curled upwards; amusement flickering across pallid features if only for a moment. she can relate. the days spent in eichen may have been excused, but she missed a lot. too much for anyone else; barely a challenge for a girl who read the ap bio book cover to cover three times over the summer. ❛ do you need help? ❜ she can’t do much to bandage what has happened — can’t return to him the time he lost to the beast. school, though; school she can control. ❛ you might as well take advantage of having a certified genius as your friend. ❜ her offered smile fades all too quickly; pain andguilt covering what amusement left behind. she nods, gaze dropping so he can’t read the look in her eye. ❛ i get it, but you have to remember it’s over now. we defeated the dread doctors. WE KILLED THE BEAST. you’re safe. it won’t happen again. ❜ god only knows what monster lurks around the next corner, but for now – for a few, blissful weeks – they’re safe ( if only marginally so ).

a grateful look pulled at his features, some of the stress from mason’s shoulders relaxing somewhat. ❝thank you for the offer and that’d be great! i wouldn’t have taken so many advanced classes if i’d know -❞ he shook his head, stopping the train of thought before it could get too far. no one could have anticipated what would end up happening. ❝do you think about getting out of this town after you gradate? i mean, have you applied to colleges all over the world? i bet you could get in anywhere.❞ they never seemed to talk about the future, something mason picked up on lately. instead, everyone focused on just STAYING alive. it saddened mason with how talented they all were. ❝i haven’t decided what i want to do.❞ he nodded his head as the conversation shifted. ❝i know but they thought they had the beast settled before, didn’t they? it still came back. who knows what kind of thing will come next. this town is like chucky’s playground or something.❞ mason probably should let horror movies rest now when he just lived through one.

GHOSTINSKI

Stiles wanted to know what on earth was going on. It wasn’t everyday you were trapped as a ghost after throwing yourself into a portal to save an innocent human. But he’d known the guilt. Known what it was like to be trapped in a body and FORCED to watch it commit evil. So he’d done it without thinking. To save Mason.

                “I hope so. I may have saved your life but I                 am not a great angel.”

Deaton had to know something. He knew something about everything. So he assumed that the man would have some idea as to what was keeping him there. At least…Maybe Mason could be his voice to speak to his dad and Scott and say goodbye.

                                  “Car. I’m not a floating ghost. Speaking of cars,                                   who has my Jeep? Because if someone is driving                                   her, I’m doing some haunting.”

❝Wait, you mean you aren’t going to try and guide me on my way?❞ Mason questioned, trying to make himself look completely shocked by this news. ❝All the movies and shows I’ve ever watched about ghosts are a lie.❞ He shook his head, leading the way out to his beloved car. The car he nearly LOST to ramming at a wall. He would never be able to thank Hayden enough for saving him from a lifetime of heartache.

          Opening the doors, Mason paused. The jeep.         ❝Well - Lydia has been driving it I think.❞ The           vehicle seemed to mean a lot for her and while           they couldn’t understand it, Mason thought maybe           the banshee nature had something to do with it.         ❝Maybe she’s trying to get in tune with you?❞  

      ( between deaton and lydia, they should all able to         figure SOMETHING out here to do for stiles. )

He waited for Stiles to get into the car before he took off. His eyes kept drifting over to the ‘ghost’. ❝If you do have unfinished business, do you have any idea what it might be?❞ He probably did watch too many films and shows but sometimes the knowledge from them were useful! They helped him a few times with Liam. ❝We need to figure out why you attached to me and if it goes beyond the sacrifice thing.❞
